Greensboro College is nestled on 70 acres of tree-lined grounds in a historical district bordering downtown Greensboro.  This summer it hosts its second consecutive NIKE Baseball Camp!

Directing this exciting week of baseball is Greensboro College Baseball Head Coach Ken Carlyle.  Entering his seventh year leading The  Pride in 2007 Coach Carlyle's 2006 Pride reached the USA South championship game for the first time since 1998 and defeated eight ranked teams during the season. GC set a program record with seven all-conference honorees, including five first team selections while Carlyle picked up his 100th career win on the final regular season game and has a 100-94 record at Greensboro College.

A professional baseball player in the Detroit Tiger and Atlanta Brave organizations from 1992 to 1999, he reached the Triple-A level, and was a Double-A All-Star in 1994. A  business management graduate of the University of Mississippi, Carlyle is the Rebels' all-time leader in pitching victories (27), was drafted in the ninth round by the Cincinnati Reds in 1991 and taken by the Tigers in the fourth round the following year. Carlyle was inducted into his high school's Hall of Fame in 2006.  Players will train daily on local baseball fields in the Greensboro area.
