/images/sports/ASPT/campimages/Bronco-buckey.jpgBronco Kidz All Sports Camps are designed for children with a true interest in a variety of sports and recreational activities. In addition to offering five days of sports and fun, Bronco Kids All Sports Camps strives to help tomorrow’s athletes build self confidence and learn valuable lessons in teamwork, cooperation and fair play. We hope to plant the seeds for a healthy future and a lifetime of sports participation.

CAMP FORMATS

Bronco Kidz All Sports Camps offers day and resident options and two distinct camp formats designed to meet the needs of specific age groups. Bronco Kidz Camp, for boys and girls ages 7 - 9, serves as a great introduction to a wide variety of sports for kids just starting out. Campers are taught the fundamentals of each sport in a fun, non-competitive environment. All Sports Camp, for kids ages 10 - 13, offers young athletes who already have experience in a variety of sports a chance to improve their skills and focus on the sports they enjoy playing the most. In both the Bronco Kidz and All Sports Camp participants are grouped according to their age and/or ability level.

FIRST-CLASS FACILITIES
All camp activities take place on the beautiful campus of Santa Clara University. Campers have access to SCU’s incredible athletic and recreation facilities including the 45,000 square foot Pat Malley Fitness and Recreation Center, one of the finest of its kind in the country. Overnight campers are housed two per room in residence dorms on campus, with direct staff supervision. All meals are served in Benson Cafeteria (day campers receive lunch only).

DAILY CAMP ACTIVITES
Core Sports: Basketball, soccer, volleyball, flag football and baseball/softball.
Bonus Sports: Badminton, indoor soccer, kickball, dodgeball, and obstacle courses.
Please note: Due to pool construction, swimming will not be available this summer.

Campers rotate among four core sports and one bonus sport each day. Each camp counselor will instruct campers in sports in which they are the most knowledgeable. This will not only allow for quality instruction in every sport, but will also enable the campers to interact with each staff member throughout the week.

All equipment is furnished except baseball/softball gloves, cleats and tennis racquets. A detailed list of items to bring is included in the camp confirmation packet.

For overnight campers: evening activities include sports competitions, movies, games and a scavenger hunt.
