Located near Long Island's parks and beaches, the 75-acre Adelphi University campus is only 45 minutes from New York City, offering a safe, suburban campus environment for our camp.
Camp Details:
Adelphi Soccer Camp is directed and staffed by both the Adelphi Coaches and its current players. Former and current professional coaches and players will also be highlighted as camp instructors.
For boys and girls ages 6-13
Campers are grouped by age and ability level
Lunch provided for the day camp by Lackman Food and included in the price of camp. Coolers will be provided for bagged lunches.

Campers will work with the Adelphi Men’s Soccer Coaches
and other top instructors in the game to learn the

Carlo Acquista
Carlo Acquista is beginning his third season as Head Men's soccer coach at Adelphi University.
In his first season, Acquista led the Panthers to a 4-11-3 overall record, 2-2-1 in ASC play while producing three ASC All-Conference honors including first team honoree, Mark Hoffman as well as Player of the Year, Patrick Figueiredo and Rookie of the Year Koutsounadis.
Acquistas’ second year was a breakout season for the panthers, leading them to a 12-6 overall record, and a 5-1 record in ASC play. Coach Acquista produced five first team ASC honorees, four second team ASC honorees as well as two time Player of the year, Patrick Figueiredo. In addition in 2008 Acquista was honored with the ASC Coach of the Year award.
Acquista comes to Adelphi with experience as an assistant coach at Hofstra University and his alma mater, St. John's University. Acquista holds a USSF "B" license and won a national championship with St. John's.
Rich Ilsley
Head Coach Rich Ilsley enters his 19th season as the Adelphi University Head Women's Soccer Coach. In 2008, Ilsley guided the Panthers (14-4-1)) to a Top-25 ranking in seven different NCAA Categories.
The Panthers have reached the NCAA Division II tournament in ten of Ilsley's 17 years as the head coach at Adelphi University. He has accumulated a 280-72-31 overall career record in 19 seasons as a head coach and produced eight All-Americans and 41 All-Northeast Region players. His coaching honors include three East Coast Conference (ECC) Coach of the Year awards and a Northeast Region Coach of the Year in 1990.
