Williams College in Williamstown is located in the Berkshires in northwestern Massachusetts, 145 miles from Boston and 165 miles from New York City.  In addition to the 450-acre campus, the college owns 2,500 outlying acres including the Hopkins Memorial Forest (2,200 acres).  This is a beautiful setting for this summer’s Nike Baseball Camp in Williamstown. 

/images/sports/BASE/campimages/04-BASE-11.jpgDirecting the program is Head Baseball Coach Bill Barrale.  Coach Barrale was named the head coach of Williams baseball after serving two years as an assistant coach and he promptly led his first Eph nine to the 2007 NESCAC title and a trip to the NCAA Tournament on the way to compiling a record of 27-10.
 
In his second year in 2008 Barrale guided the Ephs to a record of 24-12 and to the NESCAC West title. Barrale captured his third consecutive NESCAC West title in 2009 when his Ephs posted an record of 25-12 and a NESCAC West mark of 9-3.
 
Prior to joining the Williams baseball and football staffs Barrale served as the head coach of baseball at Norwich University for five years and as an assistant football coach for six years. In the summer of 2002 Barrale was an assistant coach of the Bourne Braves in the Cape Cod League.
Barrale is a 1994 graduate of Northeastern University and was a standout in football and baseball. Barrale led the 1994 Huskies to a 35-16 record, the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) championship, was named NAC Tournament MVP and earned NAC All-Star honors.
