US Sports Camps Inc. and the Nike Swim Camps are proud to return to San Diego State University in 2010!
Campers swim daily at the newly opened Aztec Aquaplex. Opened in March 2007, the Aztec Aquaplex features two pools, one for competition, and another for recreation and a hydrotherapy spa. The competition pool measures 51 meters in length and 25 meters in width and can accommodate a multitude of competitive swimming events. It also includes a movable stainless steel bulkhead, which allows a flexible water depth of anywhere between seven and 17 feet.
Directing the camp is third year SDSU assistant swim coach, Brendon Bray. Coach Bray came to San Diego State from the University of Washington, where he was the men's and women's swimming assistant coach the past three years. During his time at UW, Bray helped coach multiple NCAA qualifiers and NCAA championship scorers. He also served as the recruiting coordinator and oversaw the day-to-day operations of the Huskies' swimming program.
Each Camper receives personalized stroke instruction from Aztec Coaching Staff as well as a video analysis of all four strokes. Guest lectures addressing motivation, nutrition, and goal-setting will also be covered.
