The Fairfield University Stags invite you to an intense camp designed to fit your needs, whether you are an elite player looking to play in college, a high school varsity team captain looking for a camp to train your squad, or an athlete looking to try out for your school’s team in the fall.

This NIKE Field Hockey Camp is located one hour from New York City on 200 acres of rolling hills, overlooking the Long Island Sound. Campers will practice and play on the University’s brand new synthetic grass stadium under lights for night games as well as on the University’s artificial turf and grass fields.
 
Campers train in small groups and receive specific position-related instruction. They practice techniques and tactics that have been used successfully by the Stag’s field hockey program. The campers have ample opportunities to exhibit their new skills in game situations. The camp is culminated in fun and exciting field hockey tournament. Teams are welcome.

Session I: July 11-14 Comprehensive Skills/Team Camp-
This session is designed for campers 10-18 and is available to individuals as well as teams.  Campers are trained like collegiate athletes, practicing techniques and tactics that have been used successfully by Fairfield University’s field hockey program. Campers are placed in small groups based on their age and ability and receive specific position-related instruction.  The campers have ample opportunities to exhibit their new skills in game situations. Teams are welcome and will practice together. The camp ends with a fun and exciting field hockey tournament.
 
Session II: July 18-21 Elite/Varsity Team Camp- This session is offered to elite players who have played at minimum one year on their varsity high school field hockey team. This camp is designed for serious players who are looking to compete at the collegiate level.  Varsity teams are encouraged to register together.  A total of six teams will be allowed in the camp.

Maximum Enrollment in camp: 150

Special goalkeeping instruction is available at each session.

This camp is a Partner Camp and sanctioned to make referrals to the US Field Hockey Futures program.
