Best known for its tree-lined streets, historic buildings and college campuses, Claremont is nestled at the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains and 35 miles east of downtown Los Angeles.

Girls, ages 10-18, are invited to this All Skills camp program.  Led by a devoted and experienced staff, all volleyball instruction will take place in Linde Gymnasium.  Training will be approached from a comprehensive and dynamic perspective, teaching young athletes not only the technical skills to excel in the sport, but also strategic applications of those skills and important life lessons in leadership, self-discipline and health/wellness.

About the Director: Former Long Beach State standout Erika Chidester is currently an Assistant Coach for the nationally ranked University of La Verne volleyball team. Chidester was a three-year team captain and two-time First Team All-Big West performer as a middle blocker and outside hitter for Long Beach State. In addition, she earned AVCA All-West Region honors in both the 2003 and 2005 seasons. Chidester will begin her sixth year coaching club volleyball. She is in her second season with Golden West Volleyball Club and previously coached for at Cal Juniors Volleyball Club. She has been coaching camps in Southern California for the past 7 years.
