Located in the heart of Peoria, Illinois, Bradley University is within three hours of Chicago, Indianapolis, and St. Louis. This allows campers from all over the Midwest to attend the NIKE Volleyball All Skills, High School, and Setter/Hitter camps.
All Skills level instruction can be attended by girls, ages 10-18, playing at any skill level. Campers will master fundamentals, develop proper mechanics and gain valuable game play experience.
High School instruction is recommended for girls ages 14-18 entering grades 9-12. This intense, challenging program stresses position play, advanced team techniques and physical conditioning. Campers will be expected to participate in a thorough skill evaluation on the first day and will be divided into groups by ability level.
Setter/Hitter position specialty training is for girls ages 10-18 who would like to get more intensive training on their specific setter or hitter position.
About the Director: Sean Burdette begins his second season as head coach at Bradley University after spending five years as an assistant coach at Ohio State University. Coach Burdette helped the OSU Buckeyes to three consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances in addition to national rankings in three of his five seasons. He is also credited with helping lure three top 20 recruiting classes, including the fourth ranked recruiting class in the nation in 2004. During his time in Columbus, he trained the AVCA National co-Player of the Year, Stacey Gordon, as well as seven AVCA All-Americans, one Big Ten Player of the Year, eight All-Big Ten First Team selections, and three All-Big Ten Freshman honorees. Prior to coaching at OSU, Coach Burdette spent three seasons as an Assistant Coach/Recruiting Coordinator at the University of Pittsburgh and three seasons as Associate Head Coach at Towson University.
Attending Multiple Sessions: Campers attending both sessions will have a few hours to rest between programs and will be fully supervised during that time by the Bradley Staff
