Smith College is located in Northampton, a lively town of 30,000 in the Connecticut River valley of western Massachusetts. The small town atmosphere offers girls, ages 10-18, a safe and fun camp experience.
The All Skills program is designed for campers playing at any ability level. You will master the fundamentals, learn proper mechanics and gain valuable game play experience.
About the Direc
tor: Angela Mills is in her third season as volleyball coach at Smith. A 1995 graduate of Amherst College, Mills was a four-year volleyball player and served as captain her senior year. Mills served as interim coach at Mount Holyoke College in 1996-97 while completing her first year of a Master's Degree at Springfield College. During the next four years, she held positions at The Stoneleigh Burnham School, Miss Porter's School and The Northfield Mount Hermon School while coaching volleyball at those schools. In 2001, she accepted a position at Trinity College (CT) and served as the head coach for three years. She came to Smith after serving as the assistant volleyball coach at Amherst College. Mills is a member of the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) and the New England Women's Volleyball Coaches Association (NEWVA).
All registered campers will receive a complete registration packet after they enroll in camp. This packet has specific details about your camp including confirmed check-in and check-out times, directions to campus, emergency phone numbers and a checklist of items to pack. Packets are usualy available around April 1st.
