James Madison University provides the perfect spot for this NIKE Camp. Nine courts in both the historic Godwin Hall and the state-of-the-art University Recreation Building combine to host campers as they train and learn from a dedicated and influencial coaching staff.
The camps aim to develop the total athlete, both on and off the court. Individualized instruction ensures that each participant leaves camp a more experienced and improved athlete.
All Skills instruction is available to girls, ages 10-18, playing at any ability level from beginner to advance. Every aspect of the game is covered, giving you a solid foundation to build upon after camp.
Advanced instruction is open for athletes entering grades 9-12 who are at least 14 years of age. Campers will be expected to participate in a thorough evaluation on the first day and will be divided by their ability level thereafter.
Position Specialty camp programs are designed for players who want to specialize in Setting, Hitting, Blocking or Libero (Defensive Specialist) positions.
Team camp allows teams to get better together this summer by providing focused group instruction and competitive team play. The team camp will help teams improve their on-court strategies, gain match play experience and enhance overall team unity.
