BLESSED TRINITY HIGH SCHOOL - Roswell, GA

US Sports and the Nike Sports Camps are proud to welcome back Lee Miller of Elite Hoops Basketball to our camp family.  2008 marks Lee fifth full year as Director of Elite Hoops. Once again we have teamed up to help offer the best camps in the southeast.

Coach Miller possesses a wide variety of basketball coaching experience to make you a better player. Previously, Miller has Co-directed the University of Georgia's basketball camps, worked at Duke University basketball camps and assisted with Jack Haley's NBA Complete Player Camp in California. In 2004, he was amongst the best upcoming NBA talent while working at the 27th annual Pete Newell’s Big Man Camp in Las Vegas.

Along with his camp expertise, Miller worked alongside former UGA Head Coach and 1995 Coach of the Year Jim Harrick while serving as a student assistant at UGA from 1999-2001. At the 2002 and 2007 Final Four, Miller was on staff for the NCAA's YES Clinics.

From 2001-2003, Miller served as an assistant coach at Blessed Trinity High School in Roswell, GA.  As an assistant at South Gwinnett High School from 2004-2006, Miller helped lead the team to two state tournament appearances.  In 2004, they were ranked as high as #2 in USA Today and played in two nationally televised games.  Their star player, Louis Williams, now plays with the Philadelphia 76ers. Nine other players from that team went on to play collegiately.

During the 2006-2007 campaign, Miller coached at Norcross High School. They featured four Division I signees and concluded the season with the 5A State Championship, a 29-3 record, and ranked #12 by USA Today.

Currently, Miller is at Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia where he is working under 2001 Naismith Coach of the Year, Rod Barnes.

Co-Directing with Lee at during the two boys camp sessions will be Head Boys Varsity Coach at Blessed Trinity, Brian Marks. Coach Marks is in his sixth year as the varsity boys basketball coach at Blessed Trinity. Last year he guided the team to a 21 - 6 record and a #6 state ranking in the Georgia Coaches Poll final regular season week. The 21 wins was the most in school history.

Before coming to Blessed Trinity, Coach Marks served as the head varsity basketball coach at Mohonasen High School in Schenectady, NY for two years and at The Albany Academy in Albany, NY for two years. While at Albany Academy, Coach Marks led his team to a league championship and a New York State Section II championship. His team reached a top ten state ranking for the first time in school history.

Coach Marks is a graduate of Fairfield University, in Fairfield, CT where he obtained a B.A. in Economics. He went on to earn a Masters Degree in Education Administration from the University of Albany in Albany, NY. As well as coaching basketball, he is serving as the Assistant Principal at Blessed Trinity for the seventh consecutive year.

Co-Directing with Lee during the girls session is Head Girls Varsity Coach at Blessed Trinity, Tamara Henderson. Coach Henderson is in her second year as the Blessed Trinity Catholic High School Head Girls Basketball Coach and her sixth year overall as a head coach.  Before coming to Blessed Trinity, Coach Henderson was the head varsity basketball coach at St. Francis High School in Alpharetta, GA for one year and Yeshiva Atlanta High School in Atlanta, GA for 3 years.  While at St. Francis, Coach Henderson led her team to their first ever, elite 8 appearance in the state tournament.  This was a first in the school’s history, and they ended their season with an 11-1 record, in region play.

Coach Henderson started at NCAA Division II St. Joseph College in Rensselaer, IN.  As a guard/forward, she played 108 games for the Pumas, averaging a stellar 14.3 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 2.55 assists per game for her career. Coach Henderson playing accomplishments include:  a 4-time Academic All-GLVC (Great Lakes Valley Conference) performer finishing 5th on the Puma’s All-Time Scoring List, 9th on the All-Time Rebounding List, 7th on the All-Time Steals List, 3rd on the All-Time Free Throws Made List, and 9th on the All-Time Assists List.  A remarkable feat considering Coach Henderson only played the center position in high school and suffered a career threatening knee injury after her junior season in college.

Lunch will not be provided, but a concession stand will be available with pizza, snacks, and drinks.

Camp times are 9am-3pm Monday-Thursday and concludes Friday at 12 Noon (except Session 4).
