CAMP INFORMATION:

Located just minutes from the world famous Las Vegas strip, we are proud to welcome Mountain View Christian School to our family of camps.  This day camp is the perfect opportunity to improve your game this summer.  MVCS is located at 3900 E. Bonanza Road in Las Vegas. 

 

The Works Sports Academy offer unique sports performance training, using flexibility, balance and core training coupled with intense agility, quickness and footwork drills for athletes of all ages. Combine all of these with MASTER DRILLS in shooting, dribbling, passing and rebounding, and you've got THE WORKS. The philosophy has been developed from over thirty years of coaching experience and advanced athletic training. The Works is a dynamic approach to sport-specific performance enhancement that you won't find anywhere else. If you’re old enough to compete in sports, you’re old enough for The Works!

The basketball training will be administered by Founder/Owner of The Works Sports Academy, Pete Rivas. Pete Rivas is a former Division I men’s basketball assistant coach and former head high school basketball coach of ten years. Pete has founded The Works with a desire to reach the athlete that needs help leveling the playing field in a storm of elite and over-trained young athletes. He has assembled a staff of trainers, educators, coaches, and former collegiate and high school players to do just that. With over 26 years of coaching experience and knowledge, Pete leads The Works with his passion for helping young athletes to be safe, healthy and successful in their athletic endeavors.
