The Nike Tennis Camp at Boulder proudly returns to its original site at the University of Northern Colorado! Following a 20 year camp tradition, the theme of the Northern Colorado camp is 'Fun. Friends. Improvement.' The camp provides each camper with new tennis skills and the inspiration and self confidence to continue improving after camp.
Program Highlights
Located in Greeley Colorado, the UNC offers a perfect camp setting with stunning scenery and ideal weather for a fantastic tennis camp experience. Campers will play and compete at UNC's recently renovated tennis center. Each day will include morning and afternoon tennis sessions consisting of instruction, drills, and match play. Demonstrations will divide each session into different segments. In the evenings campers will participate in a variety of supervised activities including, movie night, tennis carnival, rec center night, doubles tournament and a camp dance.
Specialized Program Sessions
The July 19-24 session will include a special
High School players training program in addition to the general skills program. This is designed for kids aged 13-18 who are currently playing or would like to try out for their High School tennis teams. The focus is on developing match play strategy, honing strokes and key shots and developing physical strength/conditioning. The July 26-31st session will include a tournament training component in addition to the general skills session. Please
click here for more information. These sessions are for those players who are actively playing USTA tournaments or hoping to do so in the near future. Again, there will be more focus on developing game strategy, physical conditioning and mental toughness.
The extended day sessions will run from 8:30-pm each day, whereas the day program will run from 8:30-4pm. Lunch is provided for all campers.
