/images/sports/TENN/campimages/MSU.jpgThe beautiful Michigan State University (MSU) campus has one of the best collegiate tennis facilities in the country.  Set in the friendly college town of East Lansing, MSU features a massive 28-court outdoor complex lit for night play, as well as one of the nation's best indoor tennis facilities.  The multi-million dollar MSU Indoor Tennis Center features eight courts for play in any weather.

This summers camp will be co directed by Michigan State Spartans Head Men's Coach, Gene Orlando and Head Women's Coach Simone Jardim.

Coach Jardim with direct the June 14-18 and the June 21-25 sessions and Coach Orlando will direct the June28-July 2, July 12-16 and July 26-July30 sessions.


Coach Jardim is in her first year as head coach for the Michigan State women's tennis program. Coach Orlando has guided the Spartans for 15 years. A former Ball State University star and 'Hall of Fame' honoree, Coach Orlando expresses a great passion for teaching, a love of the game and great care for each individual camper.  Have fun improving at MSU! 
 

Coach Orlando and Coach Jardim carefully selects and trains their staff, which consists of teaching professionals and college players who are friendly, enthusiastic and committed to the tennis development of each camper.  The well-being of each camper is the primary concern of the director and staff.  Our staff supervises the campers 24-hours a day.  The staff lives on site with the campers, participating in all evening activities. 

OFF COURT: In addition to tennis instruction, the camp will feature fitness, sport psychology and video analysis.  Campers reside in the University's comfortable residence halls and eat their meals in the dining facility, all located conveniently across the street from the courts. At the end of a day filled with tennis, campers may participate in exciting off-court activities such as basketball, bowling, swimming, movies, field sports and a camp dance.
