Nike Tennis Camp at Oregon State University, located in Corvallis, is an ideal site for improving tennis skills and making new friends.
Nike campers will use the university’s outdoor tennis courts for drills, practice and match play. Off-court action includes miniature golf, swimming, game night and a camp dance. The camp averages 50 campers each session.
Camp Director Ross Duncan, was the #1 ranked junior player in South Africa before being recruited to the United States to attend Pepperdine University on a full scholarship. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies and Sports Management. Following graduation, Ross played in the professional tour gaining ATP points in both singles and doubles. He has also been playing a professional club tennis in the German Bundesliga for the past five years. Ross brings a significant amount of coaching experience from all levels. Coach Duncan coached on the professional WTA tour (pro level) for one year, spent three years at the University of Oregon (Division 1 Pac 10 level) and has been focusing mainly on developing juniors the past year in Southern California. This is Ross's sixth year as a Director of a Nike Tennis Camp and is excited to share is undivided passion for the game at this year's camp on the beautiful Oregon State Campus.
Coach Duncan carefully selects and trains his staff, which consist of teaching professionals and college players who are friendly and enthusiastic.
The well-being of each camper is the primary concern of the directors and staff. Our staff supervises the campers 24-hours a day. The staff lives on site with the campers, participating in all evening activities.
Evening activities include; Bowling Night, Talent Show, Movie Night and a Camp Dance.
