In addition, Tennis magazine has ranked Wintergreen among the nation's top 50 tennis programs for the past 18 years. Located in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Wintergreen offers the perfect setting for your next tennis getaway. Our facilities at both Devils Knob and Stoney Creek total 19 clay courts and 3 indoor deco-turf courts. Overnight campers will utilize the resorts deluxe overnight accommodations.

Director Information
Camp Director, Thomas Johnston, is the Director of Tennis at the Wintergreen Resort. Coach Johnston, is a three-time collegiate All-American and former head men's tennis coach at the University of Virginia. Johnston established himself as one of the most innovative and successful coaches in the country. In 1997, UVA qualified for the national team tournament for the first time in the school's history. In another first for UVA school history, Thomas led his team to the finals of the 1998 ACC championships and NCAA regional’s. Upon graduating, several of Johnston's students went on to achieve world rankings.

Program Description
This camp provides a fun, but intensive 5-6 hours of group tennis instruction,
lectures, exhibitions and match play per day.  Campers are divided into small groups according to age and ability to provide the best possible tennis instruction and experience. The camp offers both an overnight, extended day, and day options. Evening camp activities for overnight and extended day campers include: “Evening at The Dome” which includes mini golf, climbing wall and other activities, Movie Night, Awards Dinner etc.

Check-In for all campers: Between 12:30 pm-2 pm on Sunday
There is a graduation ceremony on the last day of camp at 2:30 pm which parents are encouraged to attend. Check-out will follow at 3 pm
