US Sports proudly presents the 2010 Jeff Wallace Nike Tennis Camp at The University of Georgia. This camp for girls 9-17 years of age has grown and evolved into one of the best in the Southeast. The program will provide instruction for beginners, intermediate and advance/tournament level girls for five days at a time.
Camp Director
Directing this camp is the Head Women's Tennis Coach Jeff Wallace. As the nation’s winningest active women’s tennis coach, Coach Wallace directs one of the nation’s most successful collegiate women’s tennis programs. He is one of only two coaches to ever be named National Coach of the Year three times. In 24 seasons, Wallace’s accolades include two NCAA championships (1994 and 2000), a three-time National Coach of the Year recipient and five-time Southeastern Conference Coach of the Year. With a career record of 500-124, his .801 winning percentage is the best among active Division I coaches.
Program Information
The Jeff Wallace Georgia Tennis Camp will focus on developing correct grips, strokes, positioning, and footwork. We will concentrate on shot selection, consistency
drills, singles and doubles tactics along with strategy drills for tournament play. Stretching, conditioning and plyometric routines will also be emphasized. All campers will experience basket drills, hitting drills, demonstrations and match play to further develop their skills and understanding of the game.
Our philosophy is that tennis is “the sport of a lifetime that can be enjoyed at all levels and all ages.” Our Georgia Camp slogan is “if you want to be a champion, handle academics like a champion, behave socially like a champion and practice like a champion.”

The Jeff Wallace Georgia Tennis Camp invites you to come and learn within a fun environment. When it comes to facilities, the University of Georgia tennis programs are second to none. The $7.5 million upgrades to the Dan Magill Tennis Complex make it a
showcase for collegiate tennis and will more than meet the needs of the student-athletes, coaches, and tennis campers. The complex consists of twelve outdoor courts and four indoor courts, along with a new clubhouse.
The campers will be housed in the air-conditioned Tri Delta Sorority on campus. The sorority is just a few minute walk from the courts. Dining facilities are located in the sorority and healthy, well-balanced meals are provided.
Coach Wallace carefully selects and trains his staff, which consists of teaching professionals and college players who are friendly, enthusiastic and committed to the tennis development and well-being of each camper.
