US Sports Camps is proud to offer a junior advanced golf camp at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT.
Born and raised in nearby Bridgeport, CT, Nike Golf Camp director Randy Taylor is currently in his second season as the junior golf Program Director for D. Fairchild Wheeler and has been nationally recognized for his work as their First Tee coach. He began his professional career as an Assistant Golf Professional running Junior golf camps at Brooklawn Country Club where he also assisted in the day-to-day operations during the 2003 US Girls Championship. In addition to his responsibilities at D. Fairchild Wheeler, he is also the current Head Coach of the Sacred Heart University Men’s club golf team as well as the Assistant Coach for the Sacred Heart University Women’s Division I golf team.
Campers will practice and play D. Fairchild Wheeler Golf Course. This facility offers two 18 hole courses. The Red Course is more open than the Black Course where tee shots are more demanding. Located just steps from the Sacred Heart University campus, Fairchild Wheeler is an ideal location for a Nike Jr. Golf Camp.
Camp Specifics
Check-in will take place at Sacred Heart University at Curtis Hall on Sunday between 3:00 - 5:00 pm. Check-out will take place Thursday at Sacred Heart between 3:00 - 4:00 pm.
Rooms are air conditioned but linens will not be provided, campers need to bring their own bed linens, pillow, blankets and towels. Roomates are 98% guaranteed and, if no roommate is requested, campers will be paired with other campers their age.
Campers flying into Bradley International Airport will need to secure their own transportation to and from the airport. An arrival between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm and a departure after 6:00 pm are preferred for the first and last day of camp. Transportation services are available through
