The Nike Baseball Camp at Christopher Newport University welcomes players who are looking for top-notch competition, exposure and who are committed to improving their skills and competing in a highly scouted environment.

Message from Coach John Harvell - Our philosophy is to expose as many players to our baseball program, the university and top Division I, II and III coaches from the Mid Atlantic Region.  The format allows the coaching staff the chance to evaluate and identify players as potential college athletes as well as who they are as people during these two day camps.

Captains Park

The CNU baseball program moved into the new Captains Park before the 2004 season and have quickly made themselves at home by winning 64% of the games that they have played in the new facility.  Captains Park plays host to over 20 Captains home games each season and has also been the home of the Virginia High School Coaches Association All-Star game for the past several years.
