Come join former professional baseball player, Mark Chambers at the 2015 Nike Baseball Camp in Kirkwood, Missouri! Campers attending will learn the fundamentals of the game as well as advanced techniques to add to their skill set.

The Mark Chambers Nike Baseball Camps are for players that are sincere about wanting to improve their skills and have fun with the game of baseball. Our Professional and energetic staff will give each camper the knowledge and techniques through personal instructions and small group stations that will help them become more successful. We PRIDE ourselves in teaching solid baseball fundamentals and improving the skills of each individual camper.

Mark Chambers has had 14 years of coaching, player development and camp experiences as well as played collegiate and professional baseball.

Currently Chambers is the Junior Varsity and Associate Head Varsity Boys Basketball Coach at Cahokia High School. His success included leading his team to titles and helping his players attain college scholarships.          

It is his goal to develop and mentor young men and women.   
 
Chambers played baseball at the University of Northern Iowa and was afforded the opportunity to play professional level baseball for the Atlanta Braves Organization.

He is currently a member of the American Baseball Coaches Association and the Association of Professional Ball Players of America.

Rob Callistro was born and raised in Northern California and has had 26 years of Pitching Coach experience and pitching instruction in baseball facilities in Northern California, Las Vegas, Nevada and in the Memphis, Tennessee area. Rob was the head baseball coach at Crichton College in Memphis, Tennessee from 1999-2004.Rob's believes in player development and has years of camp experiences as well as played Junior College and professional baseball.  

Rob was drafted by the Seattle Mariners his senior year of High School and signed a professional contract after one year of Junior College. Rob had some amazing opportunities with the Seattle Mariners, The Pocatello Pioneers and the Chicago White Sox Organizations from 1989-1995.

Currently Rob is the lead instructor for Team Glory Baseball. A non-profit baseball organization that believes in teaching quality baseball, Character, Hard work, Teamwork, and Excellence.

Curt Ford played six season of major league baseball being drafted in 1981 by the St. Louis Cardinals. In 1983 he was named the Midwest League Most valuable Player.

Curt made his major league debut on June 22, 1985 and played with the Cardinals through the 1988 season. In the 1987 playoffs, Ford reached the World Series against the Minnesota Twins and hit .318 through the playoffs. He had the game winning hit in game 4 against Hall of Famer Bert Blylevin of the Twins.

Ford is a baseball instructor and has owned his own baseball facility.  His mission is to teach youth through college players to develop and refine their baseball skills.

Cesar Tovar is from Caracus, Venezuela. He was introduced to baseball by his father and
grandfather who played 12 major league seasons. Ceasar came to the U.S. in 2007 to play at Marshalltown Community College and then transferred to Harris Stowe University. He earned a Bachelor degree in Business Administration.

After his playing career was over Cesar became an assistant on the Harris Stowe staff. He currently is an instructor and is very knowlegeable about the game of baseball.

Samm Larkin is a graduate of Culver-Stockton College, where she received her Bachelors Degree in Athletic Training . Samm has worked with a variety of sports teams at many different levels including high school , NAIA , Division 2 and Semi-Pro. She is currently working for Belleville Memorial Hospital, where she covers all athletic events. Samm specializes in strength and speed and agility. 

Camp Details

This camp provides programs for both the younger age group and the more advanced players. The 8-12 year old will attend 4 half days of camp and cover the basic fundamentals of the game. The 13-18 year old players will attend 4 full days of camp working on refining their current skills and introducing more advanced techniques.

Morning Campers: Check-in takes place between 8:45-9:00am Monday to Thursday at the Kirkwood Association Athletic Fields

Afternoon Campers: Check-in takes place between 12:15-12:30pm Monday to Thursday at the Kirkwood Association Athletic Fields

Full Day Campers (ages 13-18): Check-in takes place between 8:45-9:00am Monday to Thursday at the Kirkwood Association Athletic Fields

CHECK-OUT

Morning Campers: Camp concludes at 12:00pm Monday to Thursday

Afternoon Campers: Camp concludes at 3:30pm Monday to Thursday

Full Day Campers (ages 13-18): Camp concludes at 3:30pm Monday to Thursday

REGISTRATION PACKET

A detailed camper registration packet containing check-in location, health/release forms, emergency contact info, and a list of things to bring will be emailed to all registered campers prior to camp. Our health and release forms do not require a doctor's signature and they will be collected on the first day of camp.
