Nike Baseball Camps is excited to return to Ted A. Broer field! Home of the Southeastern University Fire Baseball Team! Campers will improve their baseball skills and have a memorable experience in Lakeland, FL.

The entire Fire Coaching staff, led by Head Coach Adrian Dinkel, is thrilled to offer youth baseball camps this summer for ages 5-14. Nike Baseball Camps are a great opportunity for young athletes to make new friends while playing the game they love!

Camp Coaches

  • Adrian Dinkel

    Head Baseball Coach Adrian Dinkel

    In eight seasons at Southeastern, Dinkel has led the Fire to two national championships and six appearances at the Avista NAIA World Series, making them the winningest college program in the country over that span. During Dinkel’s 18 seasons as a collegiate coach he has help build four different programs into national powers.

  • Erik Dahl Southeastern U Baseball Camp

    Assistant Coach Erik Dahl

    Coach Dahl came to Southeastern in 2017 working with the hitters and catchers.He has been key to the success of the SEU offense that has topped the NAIA in numerous offensive categories throughout his tenure at SEU. Dahl also coached the hitters who led SEU to the 2018 and 2022 Avista-NAIA World Series Championships.

  • Mike Mendoza Southeastern U Baseball Camp

    Assistant Coach Mike Mendoza

    Mike Mendoza came to Southeastern during the summer of 2019 and has been an integral part of recruiting and game planning for the Fire over the last three seasons. Following the 2021 season, Mendoza was named the NAIA Assistant Coach of the Year by the ABCA and helped lead the program to the 2022 National Championship.

Camp Details

Instruction will focus primarily on hitting, fielding, base-running, and game situations. You can expect high demand for these first come first serve camper spots, so please be sure to register early.

2024 CAMP INFORMATION

JUNE CAMP OVERVIEW

  • Dates: June 23-27, 2024
  • Age Group: 9-14
  • Camp Types: Overnight | Day Camp
  • Check-in: Between 2:00pm-4:00pm on Sunday
  • Check-out: 12:00pm on Thursday for all campers
  • Day Camper Schedule: Sunday: 4:00pm-9:00pm, Monday-Wednesday 9:00am-5:00pm, Thursday 9:00am-12:00pm
  • Meals: All meals are provided for Overnight Campers. Day campers should eat breakfast at home. Dinner is provided on Day 1. Lunch is provided on Days 2-4.
  • PACKING UPDATE: Bring a swimsuit and towel (TBD)

JULY CAMP OVERVIEW

  • Dates: July 15-18, 2024
  • Age Group: 5-13
  • Camp Type: Half Day Camp (Ages 5-8) & Day Camp (Ages 9-13)
  • Schedule: Half Day 9:00am-12:00pm & Day Camp 9:00am-3:00pm, Monday-Thursday
  • Check-In: Begins 30 minutes prior to the camp start time.
  • Meals: Lunch is not provided. Please bring a snack/lunch to camp each day.

HOUSING (TBD)

  • Dorm: Aventura Hall
  • Campers Per Room: 2 per room. 4 or 8 person suites
  • Roommates: Rooms are assigned by age & roommate requests. Roommate requests must be received no later than 14 days before the start of camp. If you don't have a roommate request, you will be placed in a room with someone near your age. It will be a great opportunity to meet someone new!
  • Linens: Not included. Bring linens (Twin) or sleeping bag, pillow, pillowcase, and a towel.
  • Air Conditioning: Yes

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?

  • Daily Baseball Instruction
  • Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours
  • Nike Baseball Camp T-Shirt, Cinch Sack, Wristband, Sticker, and potentially other prizes!

INSTRUCTION & FACILITY

  • Ratio: 1:10 staff to camper ratio

  • Groupings: Campers are initially grouped by age and moved around accordingly based on skill level.

  • Facility: Outdoor Fields. Indoor facilities are available during inclement weather conditions.

MEDICAL PROTOCOL

Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

TRAVEL

Nike Baseball Camps does not provide transportation from airports, train stations or bus depots. If you have a child flying to camp, please arrange a shuttle or taxi service.

TEAM/GROUP DISCOUNT

If you have a group of campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a discount. Please have someone contact the US Sports Camps office at 1-800-645-3226 with the names of each camper in the group and we will create a unique discount code for your group. Campers may then register individually through the website at their convenience and apply the offer code during checkout. *Discount amount varies by program. Please call for details.

Ted A Broer Stadium

Ted A. Broer Stadium

Ted A. Broer Stadium is home to the Southeastern University University Fire baseball team. The stadium was named after Dr. Ted Broer, an author, seminar speaker, and internationally-recognized expert in health and nutrition. The ballpark, which seats 200, is adjacent to Victory Field. A hitter's dream with a 305-foot line to right and 320-foot line to the left field corners, 380-foot to center with a 32-foot wall. Right-center and left-center measure 370-feet. Stadium features a 10-inning LED scoreboard.
