Nike Baseball Camps offer athletes a variety of options to choose from when considering the best possible location. Depending on the camp and its unique schedule, our campers can spend the entire week at one of our many locations nationwide.
Directing the program is Head Baseball Coach Bill Barrale. Coach Barrale was named the head coach of Williams baseball after serving two years as an assistant coach and he promptly led his first Eph nine to the 2007 NESCAC title and a trip to the NCAA Tournament on the way to compiling a record of 27-10.

Williams College in Williamstown is located in the Berkshires in northwestern Massachusetts, 145 miles from Boston and 165 miles from New York City. In addition to the 450-acre campus, the college owns 2,500 outlying acres including the Hopkins Memorial Forest (2,200 acres). This is a beautiful setting for this summer’s Nike Baseball Camp in Williamstown.
Players train daily at the field of the Williams College Baseball, Bobby Coombs Field. Bobby Coombs Field is one of the finest collegiate fields in the northeast with a permanent outdoor fence, macadam warning track, dugouts and an extensive drainage system. The dimensions of Coombs Field
are 330 ft. down the foul lines, 375 ft. to the power alleys and 400 ft. to dead center.
Camp Director
Bill Barrale
In his five years as head coach, Barrale has compiled a 123-57-1 record (.682 win percentage) and taken the Ephs to the NESCAC Tournament four times. He led his team to a 24-11 finish in 2011.
In 2010, Barrale captured his fourth consecutive NESCAC WEST title and posted a record of 10-2 in the Ephs division.
Read Full BioPrior to joining the Williams baseball and football staffs Barrale served as the head coach of baseball at Norwich University for five years and as an assistant football coach for six years. In the summer of 2002 Barrale was an assistant coach of the Bourne Braves in the Cape Cod League.
Barrale is a 1994 graduate of Northeastern University and was a standout in football and baseball. Barrale led the 1994 Huskies to a 35-16 record, the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) championship, was named NAC Tournament MVP and earned NAC All-Star honors.
FIRST AND LAST DAY OF CAMP
The first and last day of camp for Overnight Camps start mid-afternoon and end mid- afternoon. Check in takes place at 2 p.m. on Check-in day. Check-out takes place after lunch on the last day around 2:30 p.m..
OVERNIGHT CAMPS
A full baseball and living experience. Immerse yourself in baseball and new friends off and on the field. Live, eat, breathe and sleep baseball!
EXTENDED DAY CAMPS
Extended day (9:00am - 9:00pm daily) option is available and includes lunch, dinner.
Whichever program you do decide on, each Nike Baseball Camp staff member is ready to work with you and provide the best possible baseball experience while you train and strive to be a better baseball player.

- 7:00 a.m. Wake-up, breakfast (Overnight Campers)
- 8:45 a.m. Arrival (Extended Day Campers), stretching
- 9:00 a.m. Individual instruction and drill work
- 11:30 a.m. Lunch, free time
- 1:00 p.m. Fundamental instruction and drills, position play
- 4:30 p.m. Free time, relax, visit with friends
- 5:00 p.m. Dinner
- 6:15 p.m. Games
- 8:30 p.m. Chalk talks, Evening activities
- 9:00 p.m. Extended Day Campers Depart
- 10:00 p.m. Lights Out!
Check In:
Sunday – 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Check-in location – East College Dorms
(Extended Day Campers will depart that evening at
9:00 p.m. after Baseball, dinner and orientation)
Check Out:
Thursday, East College Dorms – Graduation is at 2:00 p.m.
Departure is by 2:30 p.m.
