NBC Basketball Camp at Upper Columbia Academy Spangle, Washington
NBC Camps at Upper Columbia Academy began over 15 years ago. In the remote location of Spangle, Washington, it is the perfect place to focus on basketball.
NBC Camps is the largest and most popular overnight basketball camp in the world. Since 1971, NBC has prided itself on developing the total person. The skill instruction and intensity at camp are top notch and each player is encouraged to also grow as an individual in all areas of life. NBC Camps is the leader in training athletes to win in sports and in life.
Complete Player Basketball Camp: Camp offers training in all aspects of the sport including leadership and confidence training. NBC's Complete Player basketball curriculum is all encompassing to help athletes develop and master skills to play the game of basketball with excellence. Complete Player camps offer overnight (complete program training) and extended day options for those who commute to and from camp each morning and evening.
Boys All-Star & Elite Camp: At this camp you get the best of two basketball worlds...the critical basketball skill development all college coaches want you to be able to perform and demonstrate these skills in tournament like play games. World class basketball instruction and character/leadership training are what separates NBC Camps from the competition. An Elite Player embraces self-discipline, mental toughness and the skills necessary to make teammates better. This is the heart of the NBC All Star & Elite Player Camp Experience.
Position Specific Camp: These camps differ from our intermediate/advanced basketball camps in that athletes are divided into specific positions: points, wings and posts. This training is much more detailed for each specific position. Athletes select one position for the week to study. Posts, wings, and point guards then combine for competitive tournaments and games.

Staff
NBC Coaches
NBC Camps coaches are known for their hard work, great attitude, and commitment to helping you reach your potential on and off the court. Our curriculum focuses on helping you master even the most difficult skills as well as developing leadership, mental toughness, and confidence.
The NBC Difference
Unlike other camp programs where skills training falls under the expertise of the camp director, NBC Camps has built a program of training to help each camper walk out of camp a better player and person. Our site directors work as event managers helping to run a great week of camp and facilitating the implementation of our specific camp expectations. Our basketball instruction is based on skill curriculum and talent development we believe are essential to take your game to the next level. Though coaching styles and drills may change, our master teachers receive DVDs, lesson plans, and detailed training on how to maximize this week of camp. Coaching at camp is much different than coaching a team. With over 40 years experience, our goal is to give you the best basketball and life skills instruction possible.

Flying into All-Star Camp?
Due to the increased volume of out-of-town campers for this week of camp, NBC Camps helps coordinate shuttle service. If you fly into the SPOKANE airport, an NBC representative will be waiting at the airport to greet you and help you coordinate your shuttle pick-up to the camp with other incoming athletes. The shuttle is pre-arranged by NBC CAMPS and can be purchased for $25 each way. A shuttle back to the airport at the end of the week will also be coordinated by NBC CAMPS. Payment should be submitted upon arrival to camp. Check (made out to NBC Camps) is preferred.
You can provide your flight information when you register OR at any time up until two weeks before your camp. You will be contacted before your camp to confirm final travel arrangements.
Please note:
1. NBC CAMPS coordinates the shuttle service, but does not assume responsibility for the actual transportation to and from the airport and an NBC REPRESENTATIVE may or not be in the vehicle.
2. In order to be met by a NBC representative and receive assistance with your transportation to the camp, you will need to arrive the morning that your camp begins (preferably between 9:00am and 11:15am and the shuttle will depart by Noon), as the camp check-in begins at 12:30pm. We are not able to assist you if you arrive a night early. Your return flight home should depart after 5pm on the final day of your session. If you have a late arrival or early departure on the final day, we may be able to assist you, but there may be an additional fee.
3. If there are less than 4 campers that are in need of transportation assistance on a given start/end date, we reserve the right to coordinate other shuttle arrangements with the family.
Please coordinate all flight information with the Camp Director John Fazio at jfazio@nbccamps.com subject: uca camp airport shuttle

Increased level of play and confidence
NBC All-Star Camps have made such a positive change in my son... He comes home from the camps with such a positive attitude in both life and basketball. His level of play keeps going up as well as his confidence in his ability to defend and get the ball to the basket. The coaches have the greatest balance of teaching and helping teenage boys learn how to use their talents and make them shine. My son is a better basketball player thanks to NBC Camps and he will continue to go every summer till he graduates. Thanks to you all who give your time to do this. Parent of 16 year old camper

Great environment and staff
NBC All-Star has a great learning environment that gives you tools to be great on and off the court. It is great to meet with kids that like basketball and want to work to be better. Great positive messages. The Staff really cares about what they do and helping me be better. Thanks.

Intense competition
I would highly recommend the All Star camp, I enjoyed playing with other skilled players who challenge me with intense competition on the court and who were great guys off the court.

Hard word and tons of fun
My child absolutely loved this camp and said it was harder than she had ever worked before, but also tons of fun. A perfect balance for the person I want her to be. Thank you...we'll definitely be back.

Priceless!
We sent both of our daughters to their very first overnighter camp, the coaches and director made us feel very comfortable leaving them for the week and the experience they both had has been priceless.
