Lou Amundson Nike Basketball Camp Denver, Colorado
US Sports Camps and Nike Basketball Camps are thrilled to work with Lou Amundson and Geoff Golden to present the Lou Amundson Nike Basketball Camp. A six year NBA veteran, Lou knows what it takes to maximize your potential and improve your game. Geoff Golden has become one of the premier Colorado basketball trainers for players of all ages and abilities. Camp will be held August 12-14 at Legacy High School in Broomfield, Colorado.
Lou Amundson makes his off-season home in the Denver metro area and has been a client of Geoff Golden Basketball over the past couple of years. Amundson and GGB partnered this last summer to create the Louis Amundson Skills Academy, a youth basketball camp for all ages who are looking to increase both their basketball skill level and basketball IQ.

Geoff Golden has been involved in the development of amateur and professional basketball athletes for over 12 years. During that time he has had the opportunity to work with thousands of athletes of all ages and abilities both on an individual and team basis. Current and former clientele represent athletes from the top basketball leagues worldwide including the NBA, WNBA, Euroleague, NBA Development League along with numerous college and high school athletes. Complete Skills: This program is intended to help players develop athletically. The individual camp is a great opportunity for young basketball players looking to develop and refine their fundamental basketball skills. This program also includes a curriculum for intermediate/ advanced players looking to enhance their skill set at the post, wing, or guard position. Emphasis is placed on fundamental development, shooting, offensive moves, defense, rebounding, team play, and more.
Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week. In addition, campers will be evaluated and then split up into smaller groups according to age and ability.
Check-in Monday, August 12 at 8:45AM
Camp hours: Monday- Wednesday 9AM-3PM
Closing ceremony: Wendesday, August 14 at 2:30 PM
Parents are invited to attend!
Lunch is not included. Please bring your own lunch. We will also have a concession stand open for lunch and drink purchases.
A detailed camper registration packet containing check in location, health/release forms, emergency contact numbers, and a checklist of things to bring will be emailed to all registered campers in the Spring. The US Sports Camps health and release forms do not require a doctor's signature and they will be collected on the first day of camp. Campers must bring their health and release forms with them to check-in on the first day of camp.
