Nike Basketball Camp Mount Ida College

Nike Basketball Camp and A Step Ahead (ASA) are excited to host an all-girls session at the beautiful Mount Ida College in Newton, Massachusetts. Our full day program is ideal for girls, ages 9-17, looking to stay 'A Step Ahead' on the basketball court.

A Step Ahead (ASA) Basketball camps are designed for the player looking to improve his or her game. Our camp schedule is a healthy balance of learning and enjoyment while always maintaining a competitive environment. Coaches will push and motivate campers throughout the week to improve their skills and basketball IQ.

While we do recognize the value of scrimmaging as well as free time, we also pride ourselves in teaching the game of basketball.  Campers are expected to work hard and be receptive to coaching. Drill stations, full court drills, offensive/defensive technique, and positional moves are all important points of emphasis with the ASA staff.

Highlights Include

  • Superior instruction from our coaching staff
  • Low camper to coach ratio
  • Daily emphasis on fundamental development, team play, and more
  • Challenging and fun schedule packed with skill stations, games, and full court play
  • Official Nike Camp T-Shirt and other prizes!

Registration Packet

A detailed camper registration packet containing check in location, health/release forms, emergency contact numbers, and a checklist of things to bring will be emailed to all registered campers in the Spring. The US Sports Camps health and release forms do not require a doctor's signature and they will be collected on the first day of camp. The State of Massachusetts requires a copy of camp participants’ most recent physical and record of immunizations, shots, etc., in addition to the US Sports Camps health and release form.

Scholarships

We cannot offer scholarships due to NCAA regulations. Our affiliation with NCAA coaches and schools puts us in a position where any scholarship money can be seen as an inducement to a future collegiate athlete. This puts our coaches and our host universities in jeopardy of damaging their status with the NCAA and incurring penalties at the hands of their organizing body.

If five or more campers register together, as a group by mail or fax, each camper will receive a $20 discount. If 10 or more campers register together, as a group by mail or fax, each camper will receive a $40 discount. Click "Get Brochure" above and print the application. All applications must be received at the same time via mail or fax.
