US Sports Camps is excited to welcome once again Tom Kane, President of Three Point Hoops, Inc. Basketball Academy, as director of our Nike Boys Basketball Camp at Riverview High School in Sarasota, FL. The Complete Skills camp will run from August 6- August 10, 2012.
With over 20 years of basketball coaching experience and the Founder and President of Winning Ways/Three Point Hoops, Inc. of Southwest Florida, Coach Tom Kane once again directs a challenging and fun week of basketball camp! Whether you are a younger player or a high school player, this camp provides an incredible opportunity to further develop your skills and improve your game under the outstanding direction of Coach Kane and his staff.
The Complete Skills camp is intended to help players develop athletically. It provides a great opportunity for young basketball players looking to develop and refine their fundamental basketball skills. It also includes a curriculum for intermediate/advanced players looking to enhance their skill set at the post, wing, or guard position. Emphasis is placed on fundamental development, shooting, offensive moves, defense, rebounding, and team play, all while having fun!

Alexa Kane/Caitlyn Mitryk/BJ Ivey
Graduating in May 2008 with a degree in Psychology from the University of Tampa, Alexa Kane was the Captain of the Women's Basketball Team from 2006 to 2008. She led the Spartans to three consecutive NCAA regional appearances. In addition, she was named to the SSC All-Conference Team and was voted Most Valuable Player in the 2007 SSC Conference Tournament. Sh led the conference in total assists with a average of 4.2 assists per game. Alexa is a successful graduate of the Nike "So you want to be a College Coach" program and has joined the coaching staff at University of Central Missouri.
A 2010 graduate with a degree in sports management, Caitlyn Mitryk worked as a sports information and marketing student assistant in her two years at UT. She also competed for the Spartan basketball team, where the team posted a two-year record of 52-11 with a pair of NCAA tournament appearances and two Sunshine State Conference titles. The 2010 SSC Defensive Player of the Year was also an all-SSC selection and member of the SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll with a perfect 4.0 GPA in her final semester. While serving as the team captain, Mitryk was also a member of the Dean’s List and earned a 2009 NACDA Academic Achievement Award.
BJ Ivey is currently the Head Boy’s Basketball Coach at Riverview High School in Sarasota Florida, where he was a stand out player for the Rams. BJ played at Manatee Community College for one year where he was named to the Sunshine State Conference All Freshman Team. Ivey then received a full scholarship to play basketball for the University of South Carolina-Aiken, in the Peach Belt Conference. In 2004 BJ returned to Sarasota and became the Assistant Director of Suncoast Youth Basketball where he helped direct youth basketball leagues and camps. In 2006 Ivey accepted the Head Girl’s Basketball position at Riverview High School. In his three years at the helm Riverview won back to back district championships in 2008 and 2009 and reaching the Regional Finials in 2008. In four years as head coach Ivey has amassed 81 wins and has reached the State Playoffs every season.

Camp Information and Notes:
- Camp hours are 9AM-4PM (Monday-Friday)
- Check-in : Monday, 8:30AM; all other days campers can arrive prior to 9AM.
- Check-out : Friday, 4:00PM with closing ceremony at 3:30PM.
- Lunch is not included.
