Nike Boys Basketball Camp Lima Central Catholic Lima, Ohio
US Sports Camps and NIKE Basketball Camps are excited to team up with Lima Central Catholic High School to bring you a one week session with One Five Sports. This is a complete skills camp offering fundamental and skill development for boys aged 8-15 from July14th-July 17th, 2014.
At our complete skills camp, players will get instruction on all areas of the game including: offensive moves, defensive technique, shooting, ball handling, team play, and more. Our experienced coaching staff will lead campers through drills, skill stations, full court games, and give each player the proper instruction they need to improve their skills.
Players of all abilities are enouraged to attend this camp. Campers will be divided by age and ability on the first day to ensure that all players are placed in the proper group so they can get the most out of their camp experience. Whether you are looking to refine your existing techniques or go out for the team for the first time, we will help you get there.

Elida HS Boys Basketball Assistant Coach Matt Smith will direct our Nike Boys Basketball Camp at Lima Central Catholic HS. Coach Smith is in his 8th season as an assistant at his alma mater, and has helped the Bulldogs enjoy a tremendous level of success during that time.Read Full Bio
Elida has won three Western Buckeye League championships, along with advancing to the Ohio Division II state championship game in 2012. In addition to team success, Smith has helped develop two Division II Ohio Players of the Year in Reggie McAdams (currently at University of Akron) and Purdue-signee Dakota Mathias.
Following a successful prep playing career at Elida, where he was a two-time all-league honoree, Smith went on to a tremendous collegiate career at Division III power, The College of Wooster from 1999-2003. He finished his career with over 1000 points, and still ranks in the top 5 in Fighting Scots history in 3 point FGs made, 3 point percentage, and steals. He twice garnered All-NCAC awards. During his four years, Wooster posted a record of 101-17, won 2 regular season and 3 conference tournament championships, and advanced to the NCAA Division III Final Four, finishing 3rd in 2003.
Complete Skills: This program is intended to help players develop athletically. The individual camp is a great opportunity for young basketball players looking to develop and refine their fundamental basketball skills. Emphasis is placed on fundamental development, shooting, offensive moves, defense, rebounding, team play, and more.
Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week. In addition, campers will be evaluated and then split up into smaller groups according to age and ability.

All campers must eat breakfast at home. Lunch is not included, please bring your own lunch.
A detailed camper registration packet containing check-in location, health/release forms, emergency contact numbers, and a checklist of things to bring will be emailed to all registered campers in the Spring. The US Sports Camps health and release forms do not require a doctor's signature and they will be collected on the first day of camp.Campers must bring their health and release forms with them to check-in on the first day of camp.
