Improve your game this summer with Brendan Smith and the ASA staff. Just 100 miles from Boston, the New Hampton School is located in the center of the small village of New Hampton. We are offering two weeks of complete skills sessions this summer, July 14-18 and July 28-August 1, 2013.
A Step Ahead (ASA) Basketball camps are designed for the player looking to improve his or her game. Our camp schedule is a healthy balance of learning and enjoyment while always maintaining a competitive environment. Coaches will push and motivate campers throughout the week to improve their skills and basketball IQ. While we do recognize the value of scrimmaging as well as free time, we also pride ourselves in teaching the game of basketball. Drill stations, full court drills, offensive/defensive technique, and positional moves are all important points of emphasis with the ASA staff. Campers are expected to work hard and be receptive to coaching. For those looking to stay “A Step Ahead” on the basketball court this is the perfect camp for you.

This camp is the best basketball camp so far
Compared to other camps I’ve been to, this was the best one so far. And I liked the camp this year even better than last year!!
Camper Parent
My son was shy but the staff made him feel welcome
My son was the youngest camper and the smallest camper so I worried about his being accepted and he was easily immersed into the games/drills by all. The kids were great and he had a wonderful time
