One Five Sports focuses on basketball skill development and training for individuals, small group clinics, and teams.  The training programs include basic fundamental development for younger players through elite level training for high school and college athletes.  Throughout his career, Coach Pottkotter has worked with numerous college players who have earned all-conference, all-region, and all-American honors.  His camps have drawn athletes from all over the world, and he continues to expand his camp offerings within the Nike Basketball Camp family.

Coach Pottkotter earned his undergraduate degree in History from Denison University and received his Masters of Sport Science in Sport Coaching from the United States Sports Academy.  He began his coaching career at The College of Wooster, where the Fighting Scots won two conference championships and made two trips to the NCAA tournament.  From there, he returned to Denison University as a coach, where he recruited and coached the school's all-time leading scorer, along with helping lead the Big Red to one of its best seasons in recent years, including hosting a conference tournament game.  In addition to his basketball duties, Pottkotter also served as the Head Men's Golf Coach at Denison.  After Denison, Pottkotter spent four years at Otterbein University, where he coached the Ohio Athletic Conference's leading scorer and rebounder.

Registration Packet

A detailed camper registration packet containing check in location, health/release forms, emergency contact numbers, and a checklist of things to bring will be emailed to all registered campers in the Spring. The US Sports Camps health and release forms do not require a doctor's signature and they will be collected on the first day of camp.

We cannot offer scholarships due to NCAA regulations. Our affiliation with NCAA coaches and schools puts us in a position where any scholarship money can be seen as an inducement to a future collegiate athlete. This puts our coaches and our host universities in jeopardy of damaging their status with the NCAA and incurring penalties at the hands of their organizing body.

Group Discounts

If five or more campers register together, as a group by mail or fax, each camper will receive a $20 discount. If 10 or more campers register together, as a group by mail or fax, each camper will receive a $40 discount. Click "Get Brochure" above and print the application. All applications must be received at the same time via mail or fax. If all members of your group pay with a Visa or MasterCard, feel free to fax your applications to 415-479-6061 to expedite processing. Mr. Gill is a great teacher and a true role model for kids to follow.

Mr. Gill was a great influence on our son for much more than just the basketball skills he helped Hunter learn. Far more important were the lessons he taught the campers on good sportsmanship and using hard work as the best way to achieve something meaningful in life. Mr. Gill is a great teacher and a true role model for kids to follow.
