Hone your basketball skills in the summer of 2024 with the Lewis & Clark Women's Basketball Coaching Staff at this popular Portland girls camp! Work on all aspects of the game, set yourself apart from the competition, and make long-lasting friendships.
The Ball Handling/Shooting Camp emphasizes technique, footwork, shooting drills, shooting off the dribble, shooting off the pass, shooting games, free throw shooting, post/perimeter shooting and dribbling skills.
The Complete Skills Camp helps players of all abilities develop athletically, refine fundamental basketball skills and enhance their skill set at the post, wing or guard position.

Camp Director Ann Dorris
Ann Dorris is the new head coach of the Lewis & Clark Pioneers women's basketball program. A long-time assistant coach at the NCAA Division III level, Dorris was selected following a national search. Dorris joins the Pioneers from William Smith, where she spent four seasons as the team's primary assistant and helped the Herons improve their winning percentage by over .150 with three berths in the conference postseason.

Below is a suggested list of clothes, equipment, and personal items. US Sports Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen articles or money.

CAMPER EVALUATION
Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week. In addition, campers will be evaluated and then split up into smaller groups according to age and ability.
MEDICAL PROTOCOL
Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided by the camp to or from any airports. If you are flying to or from camp, we recommend using an airport shuttle service. Please schedule flights as close as you can to the check-in times on the first day and check-out times on the last day.

Lewis & Clark College, nestled on a quiet wooded hillside six miles from downtown Portland, is the perfect setting for this summer’s Nike Girls Basketball Camp in Oregon. Campers train daily at The Pamplin Sports Center, a 2,300 seat basketball and volleyball arena in Portland, Oregon which serves as the home of the Lewis & Clark Pioneers. Overnight campers reside in the dormitories on campus where staff act as resident advisors and supervise campers overnight.
