Coach Pottkotter began his coaching career at the NCAA Division III power, The College of Wooster. In three years, the Fighting Scots were 71-14, won two North Coast Athletic Conference Championships, and advanced to the NCAA Championships twice, including a trip to the Sweet 16. In addition to numerous players earning all-conference awards, he helped coach two players who earned All-American honors, including one who would go on to be named the NCAA Division III National Player of the Year. During his time at The College of Wooster, Pottkotter was mentored by Head Coach Steve Moore, who ranks in the top five in both wins and winning percentage in NCAA Division III history.

In 2002, Pottkotter returned to coach at his alma mater, Denison University, as an assistant to Bob Ghiloni. Within three years, the Big Red had more than doubled their win total prior to his arrival. He helped lead them to one of their best seasons in over a decade, which included earning the right to host a conference tournament game. While at Denison, Pottkotter helped recruit and coach the school’s all-time leading scorer, in addition to numerous all-conference honorees. While at Denison, Pottkotter also served as the Head Men’s Golf Coach.

After Denison, Pottkotter moved on to another traditional Division III power, Otterbein University, in Westerville, OH. In three years, the Cardinals had doubled their win total and Pottkotter helped coach the OAC’s leading scorer and rebounder. While at Otterbein, Pottkotter worked for legendary coach Dick Reynolds.

In 2008, Coach Pottkotter began hosting and directing Nike Basketball Camps in central Ohio. Hundreds of boys and girls have come from all over the country to work on and improve their games in the summer. He continues to expand his Nike Basketball Camp offerings for both boys and girls throughout the state of Ohio.

Coach Pottkotter earned a B.A. in History from Denison University in 1999 and a M.S.S in Sport Coaching from the United States Sports Academy in 2002.

Noles served as a volunteer assistant coach for Otterbein women’s basketball during the 2005-06 season before going on to coach two years at Ohio Dominican University from 2006-08.

A three-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference performer, Noles is the program’s career leader in assists (674) and also ranks among the top 11 all-time in scoring, rebounding, and steals. She is the only Otterbein women’s basketball player to tallied over 1,000 points, 500 rebounds and 500 assists.

Noles, who had two triple-doubles as a player and ranked top-5 nationally in assists three different seasons, finished off her career with an honorable mention All-American selection in 2004 after helping guide the Cardinals to their first 20-win season and a spot in the OAC Tournament championship game. She led the program to a record of 72-33 over the course of her four seasons and, as a result of her success, was inducted into the Otterbein Athletics Hall of Fame in 2014.

Noles and her husband, Pat, reside in Bexley with their three children: son P.J., 8, and daughters Charlee, 5, and Jayla, 3.

Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week. In addition, campers will be evaluated and then split up into smaller groups according to age and ability. Parents are invited to attend the closing ceremony! Departure immediately following.

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation is not provided by the camp to or from any airports. If you are flying to or from camp, we recommend using an airport shuttle service. Please schedule flights as close as you can to the check-in times on the first day and check-out times on the last day.

REGISTRATION PACKET

A detailed camper registration packet containing check in location, health/release forms, emergency contact numbers, and a checklist of things to bring will be emailed to all registered campers in the Spring. The US Sports Camps health and release forms do not require a doctor's signature and they will be collected on the first day of camp.

SCHOLARSHIPS

We cannot offer scholarships due to NCAA regulations. Our affiliation with NCAA coaches and schools puts us in a position where any scholarship money can be seen as an inducement to a future collegiate athlete. This puts our coaches and our host universities in jeopardy of damaging their status with the NCAA and incurring penalties at the hands of their organizing body.

GROUP DISCOUNTS

If five or more campers register together, as a group by mail or fax, each camper will receive a $20 discount. If 10 or more campers register together, as a group by mail or fax, each camper will receive a $40 discount. Click "Get Brochure" above and print the application. All applications must be received at the same time via mail or fax. If all members of your group pay with a Visa or MasterCard, feel free to fax your applications to 415-479-6061 to expedite processing. Late or individual registrations are not eligible to receive the group discount.
