Located four miles south of Princeton, New Jersey and about an hour from New York City and Philadelphia, The Lawrenceville School is a prestigious college preparatory school with outstanding facilities. In addition to 16 tennis courts and the Lavino Field House’s indoor tennis facilities, the school has baseball and soccer fields and a six-lane swimming pool. Campers stay in the school’s comfortable residence halls.

Off-court activities include daily swimming, talent shows, camp dance, movie/pizza night and laser-tag. An average of 75 campers enjoy the fun and tennis improvement each week.

Jim Poling, director of the Lawrenceville Tennis Camp, brings with him a 29-year tennis background and 19 years of camp experience. As head men’s coach at Rollins College, Coach Poling led his team to the NCAA Division II Championship in 2001. He is now the head men’s coach at the United States Military Academy at West Point. His Lawrenceville Camp is in its 20th successful season.

The Nike Tennis Camp at The Peddie School is one of the oldest and best-known tennis camps in the country.

The Peddie School has outstanding athletic facilities, including 18 hard courts, an athletic center, swimming pool, basketball courts and grass playing fields. Indoor tennis courts are available. Evening activities include laser-tag, karaoke night, tie-dye party, a camp dance and a trip to the Great Adventure Amusement Park.

Camp Director and New Jersey USPTR Pro John Gudzinowicz has shaped the progress of young tennis players for 31 years. Coach Gudzinowicz is the head pro and manager of the nearby Princeton Indoor Tennis Center and one of the most experienced camp directors in the U.S., having worked with over 12,000 campers since 1974.
