Campers are grouped by age, experience and skill level, giving each athlete the opportunity to improve their field hockey play in a fun and challenging environment.
Top quality instruction is provided by Head Coach Laura Ann Lane and her staff. Activities include skill building drills, small game tactics, lectures, demostrations, and full scrimmages. Training groups are based on ability level after a skill evaluation on the first day. The goal of this program is to create an environment for players to improve their technique, develop a better understanding of the game, increase self-confidence, and make new friends. Campers are trained individually in all of the major fundamental areas of the game: hitting, 1v1 elimination skills, passing, scoring and defensive skills.
What's included in the fee?
Camp runs from 9am-3pm daily and each camper is given a reversible jersey. Lunch is not provided. Campers are asked to bring a sack lunch with them each day.
