Williams College Nike Field Hockey Camp Williamstown, Massachusetts
The Nike Field Hockey Camp at Williams College provides athletes the opportunity to experience the winning ways of the Williams College Field Hockey program.
This is an all skills camp that focuses on skill development. Field hockey drills and team play reflect the latest instructional techniques and challenge all players from beginner to advanced levels.
Instructional highlights include offensive and defensive skills, game situations and small game strategies. Campers are trained individually in all of the major fundamental areas of the game: hitting, 1v1 elimination skills, passing, scoring and defensive skills. Camp is open to individuals and teams. Players are grouped appropriately by age and ability. Teams train together.

- Partner Camp and sanctioned to make referrals to the US Field Hockey Futures program

Williams College is located in the scenic Berkshire Mountains of western Massachusetts, is a prestigious private school with a long history of training young student-athletes.

SESSION INFORMATION
Check-in: Prospect College Dorm on the first day of camp from 2:00-3:00pm. Camper should arrive ready to play field hockey.
Check-out: Graduation is at 11:00am at Renzi Lamb Turf Field on the last day of camp. Parents are invited to attend! Check out will follow at the dorms.

A program for your age and skill level
NIKE Field Hockey Camps are designed to help players, ages 10–18, develop athletically. You’ll master fundamental skills, experience lots of game competition, make friends and fall in love with field hockey.
Upon arrival at camp, all campers are evaluated by the Director and Staff and placed in the program that best suits them for an experience that’s effective and fun!
Round-the-clock supervision
Campers are supervised 24 hours a day. Staff members reside in campers’ quarters and participate in all evening activities. Drugs, alcohol and smoking are strictly forbidden and constitute, along with general misconduct, grounds for immediate dismissal from camp without refund.
Protective Equipment
Mouthguards and shinguards are required for all players. Goalkeepers must supply their own helmets, leg guards, kickers, chest protectors and gloves.
Teams Welcome
Get better together this summer! Teams are welcome and encouraged at all locations. Camp is a great way for teams to improve their skills individually as well as enhance their overall team unity. Register together as a team to ensure group placement on and off the field. Please call for details!

Staff is great
I would recommend the Nike Field Hockey camp to others because it definitely helps you learn and improve your skills. The staff is great and is always willing to help you with something if you do not understand. You also get to meet a lot of new girls and before you know it you have already made a ton of friends. The way the camp is ran makes the way of learning fun. They incorporate a lot of games and different stations.

Organizationally - excellent! Things like grouping new single attendees together was greatly appreciated. Diligent Safety and security. Far more time was spent scrimmaging than other Field Hockey camps providing an excellent opportunity for skill building in game situations. Drills were very effective - much better than other FH camps my daughter has attended. More tactics that can actually be used in a game situation rather than just extra ball time. Top notch camp!

Registration and check-in was easy. Accommodations were nice. Info regarding what to pack was pretty complete. Specific skills taught were good for my daughter. My daughter had time to socialize; that was important to her as well as the instruction.

Learn skills for the upcoming season
Camp is a lot of fun and you learn many good skills for the upcoming season. The counselors are nice and there is a good balance of work and free time.
