US Sports Football Camp is please to announce it's new Pennsylvania location, Geneva College! This football camp works on the fundamentals of both offense and defense, while providing a fun environment for campers!

Campers will train under Geneva College's Assistant Coach, Mike Pinchotti. Instruction will focus on individual position work as well as team play.

US Sports Football Camp offers two programs at Geneva College - Contact and Non Contact Football which provides the perfect setting for both High School football and youth football players of all levels to practice and train this summer.

CAMP CHECK-IN

Check-in for the All Skills Camp takes place between 12-1:30pm on Sunday at Geneva College Dorms. Opening Ceremony will be on Reeves Field at 1:30pm and the first practice will begin immediately following around 2:00pm. Parents are invited to watch.

CAMP CHECK-OUT

Campers scrimmage in the morning on the last day of camp, beginning with the youngest campers. Youngest campers will be ready to check out by 11:00am and all campers should be finished and checked out by 12:00pm. Parents are encouraged to attend the final scrimmages! 

SPECIALTY CLINIC

Check-in for the Specialty Clinic takes place at 8:45am on Sunday at Reeves Field. Clinic will end at 12:00pm.

PIAA BYLAWS - PLEASE NOTE

Per PIAA By-Laws, “a Pennsylvania High School student who participates in organized contact football camps, clinics, drills, Practices, Inter-School Practices, Scrimmages, Contests, or similar contact activities outside the PIAA-defined football season shall be ineligible to participate in interscholastic football for a period of one year from the date of such participation.” Therefore, Pennsylvania High School and Middle School players choosing to attend this summer’s camp will be involved in a “Non Contact” version of the same program consisting of Helmets and Shoulder Pads ONLY. 

Rental Equipment

Campers need a full set of football equipment - helmet, shoulder pads, two jerseys (one light/one dark), pants and pads, football shoes (NO metal-tip cleats), athletic supporter, cup and mouthpiece. For campers without equipment, Contact Football Camp has equipment for rent prior to camp at $95 per set (helmet, shoulder pads, pants and pads) and $100 per set if rented on the first day of camp. Individual pieces of equipment are available at $45 per item.

HALF DAY MORNING SPECIALTY CLINIC - 9am - 12pm (first morning) - $150

Quarterbacks – Personalized attention and instruction by our quarterback coaches. The focus of the instruction includes the following: leadership, passing techniques, drop-backs, quickness, footwork, speed and agility, ball handling, hand-offs, pitches and options, passing techniques, sprint-outs, bootlegs, rollouts and play-action, passing drills, grip, QB/center exchange, pivots, sprint-draw and play-action pass, progression for finding the open receiver, mental and physical preparation for playing QB, warm-up drills, reading coverages, secondary pressure, and audibles.


Wide Receivers - Personalized attention and instruction by our receiver coaches. The focus of the instruction includes the following: reading coverages, correct pass routes, working back to the ball, catching the ball at the highest point, catching the ball, following the ball to the hands, speed control, how to get open, spotting defensive coverages (man-to-man, zone and combinations), running drills, receiver drills, stance, release, patterns: out, post, hook, curl, post/corner, fade, in, fly, cross, etc.


Defensive Backs - Goals of the camp will be to teach fundamental skills, techniques, and reads needed to be a successful defensive back at all levels. Different defenses will be highlighted. The skills covered will include stance and starts, footwork, tackling, run/pass recognition, read and react, and secondary coverage.

Reeves Field

Built in 1925, Reeves Field has been transformed into one of the finest facilities in the region. Most recently, Reeves has gone through a face lift that includes a new synthetic playing surface along with improved features off the field. A new entranceway, concession stands, bleachers, restrooms and press box highlight the renovations. With a capacity of over 6,000 Reeves Field plays host to one of the most electrifying atmospheres in NCAA Division III. In addition, Reeves has integral soccer lines that enable both the men’s and women’s soccer teams have a home field option in case of poor weather.

Since coming to Geneva in 2002 Mike Pinchotti has become a welcomed fixture patrolling the Geneva sidelines, and since 2007 has been the catalyst behind the Golden Tornado Defense as the Defensive Coordinator.

 “Mike has done an outstanding job with our defense,” said head coach Geno DeMarco. “In particular he has helped develop some of the finest linebackers to ever wear a Geneva uniform.” Recently, Mike has taken the odd stack defense to a new level as a multiple look system, coordinating the input of position coaches.

Pinchotti is also the Strength and Conditioning Coordinator and has been instrumental in the overall development of the football program on and off the field. Mike has put his Masters of Organizational Leadership degree from Geneva College to good use by developing strength programs for other Geneva sport teams and football players in the off season. Along with the task of player development Pinchotti, plays a role as an assistant head coach to Coach DeMarco, where his years of management in the business world is a great asset to the Golden Tornado football program. Mike also holds responsibilities in the recruiting process and is accountable for garnering many recruits attention to the Geneva program.

Pinchotti spent his playing career at rival Westminster College and graduated in 1986 with an undergraduate degree in Communications, and earned a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership in 2011 from Geneva College.

Pinchotti resides in North Sewickley Township with his wife, Tonya, and three children: Corinne, Karlee, and Michael.
