Campers stay on campus in the University of Colorado dorms. Founded in 1876, this is the original campus of the University of Colorado. Built in the shadow of the Flatirons–the Boulder campus is often recognized as one of the most beautiful campuses in the nation. Facilities
Campers are given the opportunity to practice and play at some of the most beautiful and top-rated courses in the state. Each day campers will travel to a different course around Boulder to polish their golf games. The courses include Riverdale Golf Courses, Lake Valley Golf Club, Eagle Trace Golf Club, Flatirons Golf Course and Hyland Hills Golf Club. Hyland Hills, ranked one of the top courses in Colorado, will be host to the end of the week camp tournament.

Camp Director
Brad Neher
Brad Neher is a former assistant and head men’s golf coach at the University of Colorado. He is currently in his ninth year as director of instruction for the Gold Crown Foundation. Brad recently received honorable mention honors for the 'Top Fifty Kids Teachers' by U.S. Kids Golf. He earned his bachelor’s degree in communications in 1995 after lettering for two years on the Buffalo golf team. Brad has competed professionally on several tours in North America, recording six top-10 finishes. He recently competed in the 2006 Canadien Tour Corona Classic. Four years after graduation, Neher returned to his alma mater as an assistant coach. He has worked with the world-renowned golf teacher Bob Toski since 1990 and has directed Nike Jr. Golf Camps in Boulder for more than a decade.
Nike camp staffs are generally comprised of other teaching and touring professionals, college coaches, renowned high school coaches and former/current college players who serve as camp counselors.
Nike Junior Overnight Camp at Boulder offers each junior golfer the same opportunity to succeed, regardless of their starting point. Coach Neher and his staff offer a positive and fun learning environment, one in which campers can thrive under the direction of motivated and highly skilled instructors.
Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week.
Sample Daily Schedule
- 7:00am Wake-up/breakfast
- 8:00am Skills demonstrations conducted by Coach Neher and staff
- 8:30-11:30am Instruction - campers rotate through stations working on putting, chipping, pitching, bunker play and full-swing
- Noon Lunch, free-time
- 1:00-5:30pm Course play - campers play 9-18 holes daily with staff with focus on course management, strategy, shot selection, rules and etiquette
- 6:00pm Dinner, free-time, guest speakers, seminars
- 7:00-9:30pm Evening activities - movie night, pizza night, sports games etc.
- 10:00pm Lights out
- Check-in will take place on Sunday, June 12th at CU Boulder from 1:00-2:30 pm. The graduation ceremony will be held on Friday, June 17th at 1:00pm, followed by check-out from 1:30-2:00 pm. Pillows and pillow cases will be provided, but linens will not.
- Campers should fly into Denver International Airport. We recommend to book arrival times between 9-11 am to allow for enough time to arrive to the campus. The preferred departure time is after 4pm. - The Overnight fee includes all golf instruction, green fees, evening activities, housing and all meals.
- The Extended Day fee includes all of the above except housing and breakfast. Extended Day campers may participate in the evening activities which will include golf activities, recreational sports, movies and more.
- Campers are supervised 24 hours a day. The staff lives in the dormitories/resort accommodations with the campers and participates in evening activities. Drugs, alcohol and tobacco are strictly prohibited, and constitute, along with general misconduct, grounds for dismissal from camp without a refund.
- A detailed camper registration packet containing check in location, health/release forms, emergency contact info, and a list of things to bring will be emailed to all registered campers in the Spring.
