At Nike Golf Schools & Junior Camps, Boyne Highlands, campers can take advantage of the 72 hole championship facility. Multiple putting greens, short game areas, video analysis and a top-notch teaching staff make Boyne Highlands the ideal setting for a junior camp. Our hotel-style housing allows for a safe and relaxing atmosphere that entire golf teams can stay together with a camp counselor, providing 24 hour supervision. Or, come by yourself and meet the best friends you never knew you had!

Brian O'Neill
Brian O'Neill, PGA Professional and director of golf instruction, is entering his 20th season at Boyne this year. He was named "Teacher of the Year" for the Northern Michigan Chapter PGA in 2010 and was a finalist for the Michigan PGA Teacher of the Year. Assisting Brian with camp instruction and supervision is the Boyne Golf Academy. Brian has students that include Nationwide Tour players as well as multiple Division 1 collegiate players.
Assisting Steve and Brian are the Boyne Highlands golf staff along with other prominent teaching professionals and players from nearby courses.
Your package includes personalized instruction from Boyne's professional staff, unlimited golf on Boyne Highlands' famous golf courses, two practice facilities, lighted nine-hole par 3 course, organized tournaments, delicious meals and comfortable lodging. Camp also includes on-course instruction, mental strategy sessions, video swing analysis and take home recording of your 1-on-1 lessons with our PGA camp staff including Northern Michigan PGA teacher of the year, Brian O'Neill.
Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week.
Program Options
The Overnight fee includes all golf instruction, course play, evening activities, housing and all meals. Extended Day option available for commuters - price includes all golf activities, lunch, dinner and participation in evening activities.
Check-In and Check-Out
Check-in: From 11:30am-1:00 p.m in the Bartley House at Boyne Highlands. Check-out: Camp closing ceremony beings at approximately 2:00 p.m. and ends at approximately 3:30 p.m.
Transportation
Nike Golf Schools and Jr. Camps does not provide transportation to and from airports, bus depots or train stations. The packet we send to registered campers in the spring offers suggestions on shuttle services for each specific camp.
Supervision
Campers are supervised 24 hours a day. The staff lives in the dormitories/resort accommodations with the campers and participates in evening activities. Drugs, alcohol and tobacco are strictly prohibited, and constitute, along with general misconduct, grounds for dismissal from camp without a refund.
Registration Packets
A detailed camper registration packet containing check in location, health/release forms, emergency contact info, and a list of things to bring will be emailed to all registered campers in the Spring.
Sample Daily Schedule
- 7:15-8:30am Breakfast
- 8:45-Noon Skills and Training-campers rotate between putting, short-game and full-swing stations
- Noon-1:00pm Lunch, free-time
- 1:00-5:30pm Course play with staff focusing on course management, strategy, shot selection, rules and etiquette
- 5:30-6:30pm Dinner
- 6:30-9:00pm Practice/play or recreational activities
- 10:00pm Lights out
