Nike Golf Schools & Junior Camps, Costa Mesa Country Club Costa Mesa, California
Nike Golf Schools & Junior Camps is excited to bring back Costa Mesa Country Club this summer for weeks of great golf instruction. These programs have aided in the development of over 150,000 young golfers since 1994. At Costa Mesa, each junior golfer gains new skills as well as self-confidence to continue improving after camp.
Day Camp
PGA Professionals Steve Soule and John Ortega invite boys and girls ages 10 - 18 to the Costa Mesa Country Club this summer for an experience that promises to be rewarding for any young player looking to improve. Camp Directors Soule and Ortega provide three hours of morning instruction at the practice facility, where they cover everything from pitching and putting, to bunker play and the full-swing. Campers are grouped according to their age and ability, and instruction is specifically tailored to meet the needs of each group. Following lunch (included in camp price), campers head out on the course for 9 holes. The staff accompanies the campers and provides instruction under real playing conditions. It’s here where the campers can put their newly acquired skills to use. This combination of range and on-course instruction ensures that each young golfer will get better regardless of his or her starting point.

These camps offer the competitive player (ages 12-18) an opportunity to challenge themselves in a more intensive golf atmosphere. These camps offer the same schedule as Half Day Camps with more emphasis on strategy, advanced practice techniques and tournament preparation.
