Nike Golf Schools & Junior Camps, Tilden Park Golf Course Berkeley, California
Nike Golf Schools & Junior Camps at Tilden Park host programs throughout the summer and has established its self as one of the most popular camp locations in Northern California. Over 300 juniors attend camps at Tilden each summer, returning year after year to improve their game and have a great time.
Full Day Camp
These camps are an excellent opportunity for junior golfers (ages 9-15) to improve their skills and their course management at the same time. Each morning begins with three hours of instruction which covers all facets of the game and prepares the junior player for the challenges of the course. Morning instruction is followed by lunch and on-course play where the staff teaches strategy, etiquette, shot selection and course management. The Full Day Camp is designed to create complete golfers and raise their game to the next level. The camps run Monday-Friday, 9:00am-4:00pm.
Half Day Camp
Our Half Day camps are designed to create interest and foster development in beginners and intermediate golfers (ages 7-13). The camps run Monday-Thursday and include 16 hours of instruction. Strong emphasis is placed on the fundamentals-stance, grip, posture, full swing, rules and etiquette, etc. As the week unfolds, campers receive quality short-game instruction and by the end of camp, each Nike junior golfer will see improvement in their golf game.
Advanced Camp
Designed for players (ages 10-17) who play competitive golf or who are looking to start playing competitively, our Advanced Golf School takes the camp experience to the next level. Players receive individualized instruction with a low 4:1 student to teacher ratio. Emphasis is on short game instruction, tournament preparation, course management techniques, club fitting, and full swing video instruction. Daily course play is designed to elevate players' games to a more competitive level.

Trish Hinze
Trish Hinze started the Nike Golf Junior Camps at Tilden Park in 1999 and they have grown to over 300 campers per summer. She has been teaching golf to adults and juniors of all levels for over 20 years and started playing golf herself at the age of 8. The Bay Area Golf Learning Center programs at Tilden, which have group and private lesson instruction for all players and ages, were started under her direction in 1998. As a result, Tilden Park has become known as the place to learn how to play golf.
The main reason for the growth and positive reputation of Tilden's camps is due to the teaching staff. The majority of the instructors are PGA and teaching professionals who have taught the summer camps at Tilden for 4-10 years. Besides having fun in the camps, the juniors will come away with a greatly improved game due to the instructors' enthusiasm and commitment to their students.
Tilden Park Golf Course
Tilden Park Golf Course offers golfers an experience you won't find anywhere else in the Bay Area. Set amongst rolling hills and tree lined fairways, Tilden Park Golf Course is truly one of a kind. I recommend this Camp
"The camp was awesome. The format is great where we get to play on the course after the morning instruction. If you want to improve your golf I recommend this camp. The staff was great, too!"

Exceptional
"The Nike Golf Camp was exceptional. It was great and gave my daughter the tips and confidence she needed to make the cut for her Varsity High School Golf Team. She enjoyed her coaches and we have continued with coaching outside of the camp, yes using the same coaches. The coaches know technique, skill, patience and most of all how to explain/instruct so that player understands what is expected when they are on their own without the coach next to them. Thank you again for a job well done."

Positive Role Models
"Ron, Chris and Chris were positive role models and instructors. Course play was most valuable to experience how golf rules apply to play."
