Located near Six Flags Magic Mountain, this mid-length course illustrates a beautiful park setting with an island green and lakes. Nike Golf Camps in Southern California at Vista Valencia Golf Course look forward to improving juniors' golf games in a fun, supportive environment.
Full Day Camps
The Nike Camp Staff is on hand to provide campers with top quality instruction each day. These camps run Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Under the watchful eye of the staff, the campers practice all aspects of their games- putting, chipping, bunker play and full-swing. The morning session is followed by lunch and afternoon course play.
Half Day Camps
Our half day programs are designed to create interest and foster development for players of all ability levels. Strong emphasis is placed on the fundamentals—stance, grip, posture, full swing, rules & etiquette, etc. As the week unfolds, campers receive quality short-game instruction and by Friday, each Nike junior golfer will see improvement in his or her golf game!
High School Players Week
High school golfers looking for a more golf intensive atmosphere are welcome to join our 2013 High School Players Camp. This camp is designed for boys and girls, ages 13 - 17, that seek to improve their games through intimate instruction. This program is open to players in high school, or entering high school, that meet the age requirements.
Highlights Include
- Small group instruction with low student/teacher ratio from experienced PGA professionals
- Daily course play with the staff focusing on course management, shot selection, strategy, rules and etiquette (Full Day Camp only)
- Nike amenity package including a hat, one dozen golf balls, a camp workbook, bag tag and other great prizes
- Safe, healthy and fun learning environment

Nike Golf Camp Vista Valencia offers flexible schedules for both Full and Half Day camp sessions. Campers have the option of choosing 3-5 days (any combination of days) during the week according to the prorated fee table below. When selecting a flexible schedule camp, please call our office at (415) 451-2212 to have a golf manager assist you.

Camp Director
Brad Gallagher
Brad started as Director of Instruction in December of 2007 and has taught the Nike Junior Camps each year since. He has been teaching adults and juniors for 10 years. Prior to teaching the game Brad was a playing professional winning 26 mini-tour events over his 12 years of playing competitively. The Southern California Golf Learning Center at Vista Valencia offers group and private lessons for adults and juniors year round.
The staff at Vista Valencia has great experience teaching the Nike Camps and always creates a fun and friendly atmosphere for juniors to learn the game and continue building on the skills they already have.
Vista Valencia Golf Course
Vista Valencia is an 18-hole, par 61 executive golf course that is both friendly to beginning golfers and yet very challenging for highly skilled golfers. Our signature hole, the par-3 seventeenth hole features an island green and plays 118 yards from the forward tee and 158 yards from the elevated back tee. The course is well bunkered and features varying sizes of undulating greens. Vista Valencia also has a 9-hole par-3 course called the Chica Course. The Chica Course is an excellent place for beginners to start learning the game and for advanced players to hone their short game skills. We offer a lighted driving range with 28 stalls along with two practice putting greens.
Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week.
Sample Daily Schedule
- 9:00am Instruction - practice on skills and fundamentals; grip, stance, posture, pitching, putting, bunker play and full swing
- Noon Lunch (Included in camp price, day campers depart)
- 1:00pm Course play with staff. Focus on strategy, course management, shot selection, rules and etiquette
- 4:00pm Full Day campers depart
- A detailed camper registration packet containing check in location, health/release forms, emergency contact info, and a list of things to bring will be emailed to all registered campers in the Spring.
