Get better this summer at our newest Nike Golf Camp in Illinois at Mill Creek Golf Club. Campers of all ability levels are welcome to participate in what we believe are the best junior programs in the country. Join our professional staff for an unforgettable golf camp experience!
Full Day Camp
These camps are designed for boys and girls between the ages of 7-17. The staff is on hand to provide campers with top quality instruction each day. At Nike Golf Schools & Junior Camps we accommodate all skill levels; the junior player just discovering the game, the high school player trying to move up on the team, and the tournament level junior looking to improve his or her tournament results. The camps run Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Under the watchful eye of the staff, every morning for three hours campers practice all aspects of their games- putting, chipping, bunker play and full-swing. Morning instruction is followed by lunch and afternoon course play.
Half Day Camp
Our half day programs are designed to create interest and foster development in beginner and intermediate golfers. The camps run Monday to Friday 9:00am-12:00pm and include fifteen hours of total range instruction. Strong emphasis is placed on the fundamentals—stance, grip, posture, full swing, rules & etiquette, etc. As the week unfolds, campers receive quality short-game instruction and by Friday, each Nike junior golfer will see improvement in his or her golf game!
- Instruction from dedicated golf professionals with low student/teacher ratio
- Three hours of practice with the Nike camp staff covering all facets of the game; putting, chipping/pitching, full-swing

Born and raised in Geneva, Pat has been the Golf Professional at Geneva Golf Club for the past 16 years and a member of the PGA since 1995. Pat has been recognized for his work with junior golf in the tri-cities, hosting numerous Illinois Junior Golf Association events as well as teaching the Elgin chapter of the Boys & Girls Club of America as part of a PGA Sports Academy program. In 2013 he was proud to have 19 students playing high school golf on area teams including Geneva, Marmion, Wheaton Academy, St. Francis and South Elgin.
Steve Feddern begin his 5th season with Mill Creek serving as both General Manager and Director of Golf. Steve graduated from Methodist University in Fayetteville, NC with a degree in Professional Golf Management.Read Full Bio
Over the years Steve has worked at some of the following facilities; TPC @ Sawgrass, Desert Highlands in Scottsdale, Mid Pines in Pinehurst and Wildfire in Scottsdale. He has enjoyed a career filled with working at various type of operations from private clubs to resort, but he comes to Mill Creek for his true passion of high end public golf. He also spent two years with Tour Edge Golf Mfg. where he gained a wealth of knowledge about club manufacturing, fittings, and all aspects of golf club integrity.
Mill Creek Golf Club
Mill Creek Golf Club is located in the gentle rolling hills of beautiful Geneva, IL. This 18 hole facility is not only known for its golf course, but also its golf academy.The practice facility has over 58,000 square feet of bentgrass teeing areas, and the range has five target greens from which to choose. There are multiple putting greens as well as fairway and greenside bunkers to practice your short game. Another unique feature of Mill Creek Golf Course is the short pitch and putt course. This nine-hole course has holes ranging from 45 to 75 yards. The course is a fantastic way to introduce junior players to the game.
Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week.
A detailed camper registration packet containing check in location, health/release forms, emergency contact info, and a list of things to bring will be emailed to all registered campers in the Spring.
Sample Daily Schedule
- 9:00am Instruction - practice on skills and fundamentals; grip, stance, posture, pitching, putting, bunker play and full swing
- Noon Lunch (full day camp only, half day campers depart)
- 12:45pm Course play under staff supervision and instruction
- 4:00pm Full day campers depart
