Join our junior golf camps outside of Chicago, Illinois at Mill Creek Golf Club to improve your game this summer. Our staff is lead by PGA Professional, Pat Lenski, and other experienced instructors.

Half Day Camp

Our half day programs are designed to create interest and foster development in beginner and intermediate golfers. The camps run Monday to Friday 9:00am-12:00pm and include fifteen hours of total range instruction. Strong emphasis is placed on the fundamentals—stance, grip, posture, full swing, rules & etiquette, etc. As the week unfolds, campers receive quality short-game instruction and by Friday, each Nike junior golfer will see improvement in his or her golf game!

Pat Lenski

Pat has been a PGA Teaching Professional at Mill Creek for two years, where he runs the Nike Junior Golf Camps, both spring and fall junior leagues and coached two PGA Junior League summer teams in 2015.

Born and raised in Geneva, Illinois, Pat’s golf instruction education includes time at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland, and a bachelor’s degree from Lake Forest College. A Class A Member of the PGA since 1995, Pat's experience includes three seasons at the famous Lake Nona Club in Orlando, where he honed his golf coaching skills observing the great David Leadbetter.

Following his time in Florida, he spent 16 years as the head golf professional at the historic Geneva Golf Club in Geneva. Pat is a Titleist Performance Institute Certified Golf Instructor and Titleist Certified Club Fitter. In addition, he teaches with the Trackman Launch Monitor System as a firm believer in the synergy of golf fitness and proper golf swing fundamentals.

Pat has been recognized for his work with junior golf in the tri-cities.  He also provides instruction to the Elgin chapter of the Boys & Girls Club of America as part of the PGA Sports Academy. In 2015, he was proud to have more than 30 students playing high school golf on area teams including Geneva, Batavia, St. Charles East, Kaneland, Dekalb, Burlington Central, Marmion, Wheaton Academy, St. Francis, Sycamore, South Elgin, West Aurora and Oswego.

Camp Details

This program is designed for boys and girls between the ages of 7 and 15. The staff is on hand to provide campers with top quality instruction each day. At Nike Junior Golf Camps we accommodate all skill levels and, upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week.

A detailed camper registration packet containing check in location, health/release forms, emergency contact info, and a list of things to bring will be emailed to all registered campers in the spring.

Mill Creek Golf Club

Mill Creek Golf Club is located in the gentle rolling hills of beautiful Geneva, IL. This 18 hole facility is not only known for its golf course, but also its golf academy.The practice facility has over 58,000 square feet of bentgrass teeing areas, and the range has five target greens from which to choose. There are multiple putting greens as well as fairway and greenside bunkers to practice your short game. Another unique feature of Mill Creek Golf Course is the short pitch and putt course. This nine-hole course has holes ranging from 45 to 75 yards. The course is a fantastic way to introduce junior players to the game.

  • 8:50am Campers check-in and warm-up
  • 9:00am Staff demonstrations, overview of daily schedule
  • 9:15am Instruction - practice on skills and fundamentals; grip, stance, posture, pitching, putting, bunker play and full swing
