Nike Golf Camps in Seattle, WA are hosted by Washington National Golf Club. Camp Director and PGA professional, David Putney, will offer superior golf instruction to junior golfers of all ability levels this summer. Don't miss out on this opportunity to take your game to the next level!
All aspects of the game are addressed during the camp; putting, chipping, pitching, full swing, strategy, rules, and etiquette. Campers will participate in drills, skills challenges, and other fun games throughout the camp week. Our Half Day programs run from 9:00am - Noon, Monday through Friday and include 15 hours of total golf instruction. Junior golfers, ages 8 - 15, of all abilities are welcome to enroll!

Washington National Golf Club
Designed by award-winning architect John Fought, Washington National Golf Club is the proud home to the University of Washington’s Men’s and Women’s golf teams. The focus of the Home of the Huskies is the golf experience and the world-class course, comprehensive practice facility, and exceptional service make Washington National a popular destination for tournaments, group outings, and recreational golfers. The public practice center features a rye grass teeing ground for 30 players, as well as synthetic turf mats for use during inclement weather. The practice center also contains a practice bunker, a bent grass chipping green, and an 11,000 square foot practice putting green.Meet your coaching staff
David Putney has been the head golf professional at Washington National since 2012. He turned professional in 1996 and became a PGA professional in 2004. David played on the golf teams at the University of Arizona and Washington State. After graduating from Washington State, he was on the mini-tours in Florida and California. David works with juniors, adults, and group clinics and specializes in short game improvement and club fitting.
Mike has been an assistant golf professional at Washington National since 2009. He graduated from the San Diego Golf Academy in 2006 where he received his Advanced Teachings Certification from Mr. Tim Wilkins, one of the Top 50 Driving Range Professionals in the U.S., in 2004. Mike has taught women’s clinic’s, park and recreation leagues, and adults and specializes in juniors and lefthanders.
Doug has been an assistant golf professional at Washington National since 2011. Prior to his time at Washington National,Doug was the director of operations at the Highlands Golf and Tennis Center in St. Louis, Missouri. During his time there, he developed and instructed junior camps as well as player development programs. Doug was on the golf team at Fontbonne University. He likes to keep the game simple for his students by focusing on the fundamentals of grip, stance, and posture.
Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week.
A detailed camper registration packet containing check in location, health/release forms, emergency contact info, and a list of things to bring will be emailed to all registered campers in the Spring.
Sample Daily Schedule
- 8:45am Campers arrive at golf course
- 9:00am Instruction - putting, chipping, pitching, full swing addressed in games and drills
- 12:00pm Campers depart for the day
