Camp Director
Troy Martin
Troy Martin is entering his fourth year at the helm of the Adrian College Golf program. Since taking over in the fall of 2008, both the men and women have set numerous school records. Martin’s first win as a coach came in the fall of 2009 at the MIAA Jamboree hosted by Olivet shooting, then a school-record, 299. Under his guidance, the Bulldogs have won four other times, including the prestigious Strimmer Invitational hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University.
Prior to taking over the golf programs, Martin was an assistant club professional at the Findlay Country Club and Red Hawk Run, both in Findlay, Ohio. A native of Scarborough, Ontario, Canada, Martin is a 2000 graduate of the University of Findlay with a teaching degree in Health and Physical Education. Upon graduation he took the position as Assistant Golf Coach at the University of Findlay, a position he held for two years.
Coach Martin will be joined by other teaching professionals and current Adrian varsity golfers.
Nike Golf Schools & Junior Camps at Adrian College offer each junior golfer the same opportunity to succeed, regardless of their starting point. Coach Troy Martin and his staff provide a positive and fun learning environment, one in which campers can thrive under the direction of motivated and highly skilled instructors.
Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week.
