Nike Golf Schools & Junior Camps is pleased to introduce an exciting new location in the heart of one of America's most historic towns, Gettysburg, PA. Campers reside in the dorms at Gettysburg College and participate in golf activities at multiple local courses.
This program is led by veteran coach, Scott Moyer, who has directed numerous Nike Golf Camp and college programs over the years. In addition to the fantastic golf instruction and course play, Nike campers partake in exciting non-golf activities including a Battlefield Bus Tour through Gettysburg.

The Bridges Golf Club
Our public 18 hole, par 72 golf course boasts premier course conditions, superb all-turf practice areas, and a gorgeous view of Adams County countryside. Golf Digest rates it "Four Stars" and "A hidden gem". Nike Golf Schools & Junior Camps is excited to have the facility host our campers.
South Hills Golf Club
South Hills offers both traditional and modern golf course architecture. This 49-year-old gem is one of the Commonwealth's best public layouts. This championship course is situated amid the beautiful rolling hills of southern Pennsylvania. Our 27 holes and mature, tree-lined fairways offer a challenging and premier golf experience.
McDaniel College Golf Course
The 9-hole McDaniel College course at the McDaniel College Golf Club facility in Westminster, MD features 5,324 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72 . McDaniel College golf course opened in 1935. This 9-hole course will play host to the camp tournament to take place on the last day of camp!

Camp Director
Scott Moyer
Scott Moyer is the director of golf and men's golf coach at McDaniel College, formerly known as Western Maryland College, in Westminster, Maryland. He has led the Green Terror to (8) NCAA National Championship appearances with the most recent in 2011, where they finished ranked 19th in the country by Golfweek and Nike Coaches poll. He was named NCAA Centennial Conference "Coach of the Year" in 2011 as well.
Coach Moyer, on two levels, has won (17) conference team championships, coached (15) individual
conference champions and holds (2) NCAA coaching records. In 2005, both the men's and women's
teams' won their conference team championships as well as both individual championships, making this the first team in NCAA history to accomplish this feat.
Moyer has worked with coaches and players from around the United States as well as South Africa, Germany, Spain, Canada, Korea, Japan, France, Sweden and Australia. His players and students have competed on every level of competition including the PGA Tour, Futures Tour, U.S. Open, British Amateur, U.S. Amateur, Porter Cup and the NCAA National Championship. Several of his former players are also college coaches at the D-1,D-2 and D-3 levels.
Coach Moyer is also a member of the Golf Coaches Association of America and speaks at numerous recruiting workshops including those in Pinehurst, NC and for the Mid-Atlantic PGA. He also serves as director of the National Golf Coaches Academy as well as directs numerous Nike Golf Camps nationwide.
Nike Golf Schools & Junior Camps provide young golfers with the tools to enjoy this great game for a lifetime. Our curriculum is the perfect blend of expert instruction, course play and fun off-course activities. With an outstanding coach in Scott Moyer, each Nike camper can leave at the end of the week feeling more confident about their game.
Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week.
Sample Daily Schedule
- 7:30am Wake-up and breakfast
- 8:15am Depart to local golf courses
- 8:45am Skills demonstrations conducted by the staff
- 9:00am - Noon Small group instruction focusing on putting, chipping, pitching and full-swing
- Noon Lunch and relaxation
- 1:00 - 5:00pm Course play (9-18 holes) with instruction on course management, shot selection, rules and etiquette
- 6:00pm Dinner in dining hall
- 7:00 - 9:00pm Evening activities
- 10:15pm Lights out
- The Overnight fee includes all golf instruction, green fees, evening activities, housing and meals.
- The Day Camp option includes all golf instruction, lunch, and course play. Day campers will be dropped off and picked up at the golf course each day.
- Campers are supervised 24 hours a day. The staff lives in the dormitories with the campers and participates in evening activities. Drugs, alcohol and tobacco are strictly prohibited, and constitute, along with general misconduct, grounds for dismissal from camp without a refund.
- A detailed camper registration packet containing check in location, health/release forms, emergency contact info, and a list of things to bring will be emailed to all registered campers in the Spring.
