Fall/Winter Weekend Camps
Santa Clara Golf and Tennis is pleased to offer Fall/Winter camp sessions in 2016. These programs run on Saturdays from 1:00 - 4:00pm over the course of six (6) weekends. Each camp day includes 1.5 hours of practice (range, short game, or putting) and 1.5 hours of course play. Session I is 9/17 - 10/22 and Session II is 10/29 - 12/3. Camp tuition is $450 for six (6) class sessions. If players cannot make one or more camp days they can be made up during another weekend session at either Shoreline Links or Summitpointe GC. All participants receive one dozen Nike Golf balls and Nike hat. This program is suited for all skill levels, but if your child is brand new to golf, please send an email to Kim Stevens (firstname.lastname@example.org) before registering.
Full Day Camps (Summer)
The students in the full day camp enjoy three hours of instruction each morning. This instruction works on all facets of the game and prepares the junior player for the challenges of the course. After lunch, it’s off to the first tee! During course play our staff teaches strategy, etiquette and course management. The Full Day Camp is designed to create complete golfers and raise their game to the next level. Lunch is included in the price of camp, however campers are welcome to bring their own lunch.
Half Day Camps (Summer)
This program offers campers of all abilities the opportunity to work on and improve every part of their game. A Half Day camper will receive three hours of instruction with emphasis on putting, chipping, bunker play and full swing.
Advanced Camp (Summer)
Designed for players (ages 10-17) who play competitive golf or who are looking to start playing competitively, our Advanced Players Camp takes the camp experience to the next level. Players receive individualized instruction with a low 4:1 student to teacher ratio. Emphasis is on short game instruction, tournament preparation, course management techniques, club fitting, and full swing video instruction. Daily course play of 9-18 holes is designed to elevate players' games to a more competitive level.
