More Important Camp Details
Nike Golf Schools & Junior Camps provide young golfers with the tools to enjoy this great game for a lifetime. Our curriculum is the perfect blend of expert instruction, course play and fun off-course activities. With an experienced coaching staff, each Nike camper can leave at the end of the week feeling more confident about their game. Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week.
The Overnight camp includes all golf instruction, course play, evening activities, housing and meals.
The Extended Day option includes everything the Overnight camp offers except breakfast and lodging.
The Day Camp includes morning instruction, lunch, and afternoon course play.
Day and Extended Day campers will be dropped off and picked up at the resort each day.
Nike Golf Schools and Jr. Camps does not provide transportation to and from airports, bus depots or train stations. The packet we send to registered campers in the spring offers suggestions on shuttle services for each specific camp.
Golfers will be accommodated in the Blue Ridge Commons, an apartment style facility. Two campers per room. Each apartment has a common area with flat screen TV, kitchen and three bedrooms.
Campers are supervised 24 hours a day. The staff lives in the dormitories with the campers and participates in evening activities. Drugs, alcohol and tobacco are strictly prohibited, and constitute, along with general misconduct, grounds for dismissal from camp without a refund.
A detailed camper registration packet containing check in location, health/release forms, emergency contact info, and a list of things to bring will be emailed to all registered campers in the Spring.
The Wintergreen Resort
Wintergreen Resort, the Mid-Atlantic's most exciting year-round playground, is a golfer's haven. Two courses. Two completely different designs. Two invigorating experiences. All in one stunning Virginia golf resort. The mountaintop Devils Knob Golf Course is, well, a cool place that is fun to play and is perennially ranked as one of Virginia's best courses, its panoramic views become a visual smorgasbord of color in the fall. Down in the historic Rockfish Valley, Stoney Creek Golf Course flows through a setting that is as relaxing as it is challenging. World-renowned golf architect Rees Jones designed a trio of nines that blend seamlessly into the natural surroundings.
