Keep your game sharp this winter by joining the USC Trojan coaching staff in Phoenix, Arizona for a week of high-level golf instruction and course play at Ocotillo Golf Resort.
The atmosphere is competitive and the focus is placed squarely on improvement. All aspects of golf, both mental and physical, are addressed throughout the week. This program is designed for high school and tournament-level players, ages 12 - 18.
All meals are provided by Ocotillo Golf Resort and campers reside at the Holiday Inn Ocotillo.

Ocotillo Golf Resort
A traditional-style course, Ocotillo Golf Resort's lush fairways, cascading waterfalls and colorful flora offer a unique contrast to the desert landscaped courses that permeate the Valley. The water features are both beautiful and dramatic and are integral part of Robinson's vision. The layout offers generous fairways and landing areas, creating birdie opportunities for golfers who think their way around the course.

Co-Director
Chris Zambri
Chris Zambri, a former USC All-Pac-10 performer and longtime Nationwide Tour veteran, is in his fifth year as USC's men's golf head coach. In a short amount of time, Zambri has established himself as among the top coaches in the nation and has taken his team to the NCAA Championships final in each of his first four years.
Read Full BioZambri's teams have won 11 events, including Pac-10 titles in 2007 and 2011 and an NCAA Regional in 2008. His 2008 team came within three strokes of first place at the NCAA Championships. Trojan golfers have also won 11 individual crowns under Zambri.
Zambri, 39, played six years on the Nationwide Tour and was an active teaching professional when he was not competing. A 1993 USC graduate who played for the Trojans from 1989 to 1993, Zambri played six seasons on the Nationwide Tour between 1997 and 2004. He finished as high as 19th on the circuit's money list in 1998, posting two second-place finishes that year. He competed in four PGA Tour events as well as the 1995 and 1999 U.S. Opens. As a Trojan, he was a two-time All-Pac-10 second team selection in 1991 and 1993.

Josh Brewer
Josh Brewer, who owns more than a decade of collegiate golf experience as a successful player, instructor and recruiter, is in his third year as a USC men's and women's golf assistant coach. Brewer came to USC after spending the previous six seasons (2003-08) as an assistant men's golf coach at his alma mater, Indiana.
Read Full BioIn his short time at USC, Brewer has helped guide five women's and three men's All-Americans (and a men's freshman All-American) as well as two women's and one men's Pac-10 Players of the Year and a men's and women's Pac-10 Freshman of the Year.
Brewer played four years at Indiana (1995-98), helping the Hoosiers reach the 1996 NCAA Finals, the 1997 NCAA Regionals and the 1998 Big Ten Championship crown. He was a two-time All-American Scholar Team selection (1997-98) and a three-year Academic All-Big-Ten honoree (1996-98).
Directors Zambri and Brewer will be assisted by other teaching professionals and current USC varsity players.
Nike Advanced Golf camps are golf-intensive and create the ideal environment for the advanced player ready to take their game to the next level. Campers will hear first hand accounts of how members of our staff established themselves throughout various stages of their development. The importance of goal setting, time management, and hard work will be stressed as these are key elements to attaining success in golf and life.
Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week.
Sample Daily Schedule
- 7:00am Breakfast at Ocotillo Resort
- 7:45 - 10:45am Warm-up, break into learning groups - putting, chipping and full swing practice
- 10:45 - 11:30am Golf swing clinic by coaches and counselors
- 11:30 - Noon Lunch
- 12:00 - 5:45pm Course play - putting game while waiting to tee off
- 4:30 - 5:45pm Individual practice with coaches when finished with round
- 5:45 - 6:15pm Dinner
- 6:30 - 7:30pm Clean-up and rest
- 7:30 - 9:30pm Camp meeting in conference room - discussions with coaches on college golf, tournament preparation, rules etc.
- 10:00pm Lights out
- The Overnight camp fee includes golf instruction, green fees, housing and all meals. Does not include extra spending money.
- The Extended Day fee includes all the above except lodging and breakfast.
- Check in: 1:00 - 2:30pm on Sunday at Holiday Inn Ocotillo.
- Check out: Noon on Thursday at Holiday Inn Ocotillo.
- Campers are supervised 24 hours a day. The staff lives in the dormitories/resort accommodations with the campers and participates in evening activities. Drugs, alcohol and tobacco are strictly prohibited, and constitute, along with general misconduct, grounds for dismissal from camp without a refund.
- Nike Golf Schools and Jr. Camps does not provide transportation to and from airports, bus depots or train stations. The packet we send to registered campers in the spring offers suggestions on shuttle services for each specific camp.
- A detailed camper registration packet containing check in location, health/release forms, emergency contact info, and a list of things to bring will be emailed to all registered campers before camp.
- This camp is open to any and all entrants.
