VANDERBILT UNIVERSITY - Nashville, Tennessee
Vanderbilt University, located just five minutes from downtown Nashville, hosts the Nike Lacrosse Camp again in 2007. Nestled in the central basin of Tennessee and rimmed by wooded hills, the beautiful campus of Vanderbilt is a great place for young athletes to develop their lacrosse skills.
Cathy Swezey, Head Women's Lacrosse Coach at Vanderbilt University, returns as the camp director. Entering her 9th year, Coach Swezey has built the Vanderbilt Women's Lacrosse Program into a national power. In 2004, the Commodores enjoyed their most successful season to date, as they won their second American Lacrosse Conference Title and advanced to the 2004 NCAA Final Four. In 2002, Cathy was awarded the American Lacrosse Conference Coach of the Year honors, as well as the InsideLacrosse.com National Coach of the Year award. Prior to that, the intercollegiate women's Lacrosse Coaches Association nominated Swezey for “National Coach of the Year” honors after leading Vanderbilt to a 10-6 record in 2000.
As a player, Swezey started for Trenton State's national championships teams in 1991, 1992 and 1994, and for the 1990 national runner-up squad. Swezey also captured Regional All-American honors in 1992 and 1994, was named to the NCAA Final Four All-Tournament team in 1992 and 1994 and received the Attack Player of the Year award from the South Jersey Lacrosse Club her senior season. Additionally Coach Swezey was a member of the US National Team in 1994-95.

Once in camp, each camper is personally evaluated and placed into a group with other players of similar age, abilities and goals. Each Camp Director does his/her best to accommodate your needs as an athlete, keeping in consideration your experience and desire to improve.
SUPERVISION - The staff lives on campus and provides 24 hour supervision of all campers.
STAFF - The NIKE Camp staff includes many of the most respected coaches and players in the sport. The director personally hires and trains the camp staff. They observe and instruct each player every day. Our professionally trained staffs are friendly, enthusiastic and committed to the well being of each camper.
IMPROVEMENT - You will improve more than you ever thought possible at camp! With a low camper to staff ratio and five hours of training every day, there is no better place to improve than at a NIKE Camp!
