USSC is excited to return to Williams College to offer a Nike Girls Lacrosse Camp again in 2015 with Williams College Head Coach, Chris Mason and Assistant Coach, Alix Barrale. The Williams campus is ideally located about three hours from Boston or New York City.

At the Nike Lacrosse Camp at The Williams College, our goal is to stimulate a love for the game by immersing you in the sport and giving you the kind of focused, intensive training essential to improvement. Over the course of camp, your enthusiasm and self-confidence will grow along with your skills.

Chris Mason

Chris Mason

Chris Mason is the Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach at Williams College. In Mason's 28 seasons she has led the Purple Cows to 266 wins, 4 ECAC-New England titles, the 2010 NESCAC title, 2 undefeated seasons and 2 NCAA DIII Lacrosse championship games.

She has produced 34 All-Americans, a National Offensive Player of the Year and a National Defensive Player of the Year. 

Mason graduated from Penn State in 1978 with a bachelor's of science in physical education and in 1986 she received a Master's in education from Boston University. From 1977-1984 she was a member of the U.S. Field Hockey Team and she was named to the 1980 and 1984 U.S. Olympic teams.

Alix Barrale

Alix Barrale

Alix Barrale is the Assistant Women’s Lacrosse Coach and Head Field Hockey Coach at Williams College. A former All-American at Williams, Coach Rorke holds an impressive 134-85 mark (.612) and appeared in the championship game of the NESCAC six times, winning three NESCAC titles (2001, 2002, 2004).

In 2004, she was awarded Coach of the Year after her Purple Cows won the 2004 NESCAC Championship. 

Barrale played field hockey and lacrosse at Williams under her current assistant coach, Chris Mason. Barrale was the all-time leader in points for the Ephs at the time of her graduation, earned All-American honors and was invited to the U.S. Olympic "A" Training Camp.

Camp Details

This summer, Williams is offering two weeks of overnight and extended day camp (9:00am-9:00pm) for ages 9-18. Our focus for this camp will be on instruction, working with our campers to improve not only their individual skills and sense of the game, but also their ability to contribute to team skills and success.

A detailed camper registration packet containing check-in location, health/release forms, emergency contact info, and a list of things to bring will be emailed to all registered campers prior to camp. All health and release forms will be collected on the first day of camp.

Overnight Campers


  • Check-in takes place between 1:00-2:00pm on Sunday, July 12th. No lunch on the first day – all campers should come dressed and ready to play lacrosse!!

  • There will be a closing ceremony on Thursday, July 16th at 11:00am at the field. Overnight campers will check out of the dorm immediately following.

The dormitory we have been assigned to, only has single rooms. Campers will be assigned to individual rooms by age group and/or next to requested friends.  If you have a request, and have not already given it to us, please email or call 1 (800) 645-3226 no later than 14 days before the start of camp. To eliminate any confusion on the first day of camp, please be as specific as possible with your request. If you don't have a request, you will be placed in a room next to other campers in your age group.

Campers are supervised 24 hours a day. The staff live in the dormitories with the campers and participate in evening activities. Drugs, alcohol and tobacco are strictly prohibited, and constitute, along with general misconduct, grounds for dismissal from camp without a refund.

Extended Day Campers

All extended day campers check-in between 1:30- 2:00pm on Sunday, July 12th & 19th. You should come dressed and ready to play.

On Thursday, July 16th & 23rd extended day campers depart from the field after the 11:00am closing ceremony.

Daily Schdule: SUN 1:30PM-9PM, MON-WED 9AM-9PM, THURS 9AM-11:30AM

Discounts Available

Team Discount: If five or more campers register together, as a group by mail or fax, each camper will receive a $25 discount. Click “Get Brochure” above and print the application. All applications must be received at the same time via mail or fax. If all members of your group pay with a Visa or MasterCard, feel free to fax your applications to 415-479-6061 to expedite processing. Late or individual registrations are not eligible to receive the group discount.

Goalie Discount: To ensure each session has enough goalies for drills and scrimmages, all goalies automatically qualify for a special $50 discount. You can call 1-800-645-3226 to receive the goalie discount over the phone or you can indicate that you are eligible for the goalie discount in the “comments” field when registering via our secure website.  Goalie discount cannot be combined with any other discount.


Williams College

Williams is situated on a 450-acre campus in Williamstown, Massachusetts, located in the Berkshires in rural northwestern Massachusetts. The campus contains more than 100 academic, athletic, and residential buildings. The school's athletic teams are called the Ephs (rhymes with "chiefs"), a shortening of the first name of founder Ephraim Williams. The mascot is a Purple Cow. They participate in the NCAA's Division III and the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC).

Nike Lacrosse Camps do a great job with getting us to know each other. The coaches are a lot of fun! You are worked hard and build up endurance. You work on game like drills, so you work more on stick skills. It is great for practice after the season ends.
