CAL Golden Bear Developmental Lacrosse Camp (June 30 - July 3)
Sessions will include:
• Stickwork, individual attacking and defensive skills (shooting, dodging, footwork, etc)
• Team attack and defensive concepts (double teams, draw and dumps, etc).
• Stick trick of the day and fun skill games to foster a love of the sport
• The chance to review rules of the game
• The opportunity to go on a tour of the Berkeley Campus and Athletic Facilities.
CAL Golden Bear Elite Lacrosse Camp (June 30 - July 3)
The Elite Camp is for advanced middle and high school players interested in playing at the collegiate level. Camp will feature:
Morning sessions: Emphasis on individual skill work such as
• Body positioning
• Defensive footwork
Afternoon sessions: Emphasis on small sided play such as
• Double teams
• Setting picks
• Offensive movement
• Marking cutters
Evening sessions: Nightly games where campers can implement the skill work they learned throughout the day in a competitive environment.
• A campus tour
• Recruiting talk
• Experiencing life as a student athlete living in the dorms and eating in the dining hall!
A detailed camper registration packet containing check-in location, health/release forms, emergency contact info, and a list of things to bring will be emailed to all registered campers prior to camp. Our health and release forms do not require a doctor's signature and they will be collected on the first day of camp.
CAL Golden Bear Developmental Lacrosse Camp
Check-in will take place at 8:30am at Witter Field. Instruction begins at 9:00am and pick up will be at 3:00pm each day. As a reminder, campers must bring their own lunch and drink each day.
There will be a championship game Thursday morning starting at approximately 10:00am followed by a brief awards ceremony. Campers need to be picked up at the field at 11:30am.
Hours: 9:00am to 3:00pm

CAL Golden Bear Elite Lacrosse Camp
ALL CAMPERS (both overnight and extended day) check-in at 12:00pm at designated dorm (details to follow).
There will be a championship game Thursday morning starting at approximately 10:00am followed by a brief awards ceremony. Extended Day Campers need to be picked up at the field at 11:30am and overnight campers will check out of the dorm immediately following the awards ceremony.
Commuter Hours: MON 12:00pm-8:30pm, TUE, WED 8:45am-8:30pm and THURS 9:00am-11:30am. Overnight camp is all inclusive.
Housing & Roommates
Campers will be housed in single, double and triple occupancy rooms at the Unit 1 Residence Halls and are assigned by age and roommate requests. If you don't have a roommate request, you will be placed in a room with someone near your age. It will be a great opportunity to meet someone new!
Dorm: Unit 1 dorms
Air Conditioning: No
Meals: All meals will be provided in the Crossroads Dining Hall
Suggested spending money: $40
Key Deposit: Not required
Lost Keys: For lost keys you will be responsible for a $50 charge for regular rooms/$75 for suites
Medical facility: a certified trainer will be on staff during all field sessions
Due to University and NCAA Policies, we are not allowed to offer any transportation to and from camps. The airport closest to the Berkeley campus is Oakland International Airport; San Francisco International Airport is also within a reasonable distance. There are several options that we suggest.
There are a few shuttle services that offer transportation to and from Oakland & San Francisco International Airports. Reservations must be made at least a few days in advance, you can make reservations over the phone or online.
